Beeen playing TW since medieval 1 man and then got into LOTR always wanting to defend as Gondor in MT and u gave me that “you are soldiers of Gondor no matter what comes of that gate you will stand your ground!”

Can't wait for the Gobbos and Trolls, ofc the low equipped easterlings have my attention to. Can't wait for this update.

Orca do not live forever. According to some writings by Tolkien, to my understanding, they live about 60 to 80 years. Similar life span to humans. The same happened to orcs once they were corrupted, as to the Numenorians. The more they turned away from the Gods and were tainted with dark magic, the shorter their life spans got. Correct me if im wrong, but thats how I understand it.

I though Numenorians got their life shorter due to intermarrying with normal humans and yes when they questioned their gods by invading the west their island got destroyed but that doesn't mean they lost their long life hell Aragorn was 60 during the war of the ring

@@itshenry8977 yes, but if I remember, weren’t the lives of numenorians already getting shorter even before their attempt to attack the undying lands? Not the numenorians who remaind loyal, only the ones who turned to sauron? I could be wrong on this one tho

Morgoth had 'special' servants (some orcs) that appeared in several battles that would indicate their lifespan to be much longer, possibly immortal.

@@dflatt1783 When you said that last sentence, it reminds of a unique Uruk from Shadow of War. The Bow of Morgoth was the oldest Uruk to exist as, based on his title, he served Morgoth in the First Age before the events of the game. This means that he is hundreds to thousands years old. I know the game may not be canon, but this supports what you said as 'special' orcs to have longer lifespan.

Pixie couldn't have put it in better words when he said 4 years ago he wouldn't have imagined the game would be in this state. Massive props to the team for working their asses off in their own free time to bring us what CA should have given us. I love how much detail they've put into every single aspect of this game, especially into how they made the units look, and most especially the elves 😍 One thing I'm wondering if they can fix is: I've noticed whenever archers fire (at least with elves) that they get bloody even when they're not in melee combat. So not sure if that's a base Attila issue or is it a bug in the mod that can be fixed? EDIT: To clarify, I've seen this happen in a custom battle where the enemy didn't have any archers/ranged units. The more my archers would fire, the bloodier they'd get.

@@enzokohlmayer3970 nah I once played a custom battle where the enemy didn't have any archers or any ranged units at all, and the more my archers fired the more bloody they got

Killer intro, duo commentary was very cool and the map was gorgeous, great mix of Dwarven Fortress and Cave System.

Couldn't help but notice that the intro had a weird scene where the goblins we attacking to the left instead of the right. Other than that, really good job.

Orcs are not immortal, but they can live pretty long, longer than any other mortal creatures, but many of them are slain prematurely.

Dwarves hands down best race in Middle Earth!

In history of middle earth it states orcs had shorter lifespans than numenoreans. Most of the original corrupted elves are most likely dead and the light of the valar would no longer be strong in them. The only reason numenoreans had long life was as a gift of the Valar.

Don't quote me on this because I'm not an expert but I do believe I watched an old lore video a while back About The Lord of the Rings where it's stated that orcs and goblins lost their immortality Due to their corruption.

Youre right i clearly do not understand the time and effort that went into those "20" troll animations cause i was disappointed. only noticed like 2 attacks, overhead and back hand. Models do look pretty good tho. #teamreforged
