Dwarven ASMR (Mining for Sleep)

There’s nothing more relaxing than laborious, repetitive tasks, right? Especially if it’s hard labour. Well, anyway, that’s what I imagine fantasy dwarves to think. So here’s an ASMR roleplay where you help a gruff, but friendly, Dwarf mine for gemstones and whatnot deep in the belly of the land. There’s mine, cave-like ambiance, relaxing sounds of the pickaxe striking the walls, as well as crumbling rock sounds to help you sleep. Enjoy!

🎙 What is ASMR? 🎧
ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) is synaesthesia of the soul. It’s a relaxing feeling, it’s a tingling down the spine, or it’s simply a sleep aid. Whether it’s being ‘held’ by someone you have confidence in, or ‘looked after’ by someone with authority, or just feeling ‘safe’ with someone you trust, it uses audio-visual triggers to enable you to let go of your worries and stresses - even just for a bit.
📽 What is FPC? 🎞
FPC (first person cinema) takes all the relaxing elements of ASMR but has much more of a focus on immersion and the suspension of disbelief. It’s kinda like being the main character in your own short movie, with popular figures you know and love, or entirely created worlds - just for you. There won’t be any visible mics or traditional triggers in these videos, and they will seem more unintentional than the usual ASMR videos - but they are unique and relaxing experiences designed to transport you to different places, worlds, and times.

That outfit is just insanely good, I am not even one minute in but I know it’s gonna be great.
i'm not usually a fan of metallic triggers, but you always make things i don't usually enjoy into sounds that work for me! the "clanks" were very nice. once again i am respectfully begging on my hands and knees for a Sleep Token indoctrination roleplay featuring Vessel, ii, iii, or iv trying to induct the listener into Sleep's embrace. you would pull it off flawlessly. i trust you and only you with handling that specific video 🙏🙏🙏

This is excellent work, i like the innovative approach with the hands in front examining the stones, something i haven't seen before and it creates nice layering.

I've never been on Patreon until Jim's channel. I've never even used ASMR. But he's so inventive and amazing with the costuming, scripts, and effects that I feel more like a patron of the Fine Arts than a member of a KZread channel. Money well spent, if I do say so myself.

Jim can we please keep this character around I would love to see this dwarf become our companion maybe we can get into a couple battles in the mines or on the top land, maybe do some more excavation for gems and maybe some weapon creation.

The only gem I need is a good asmr vid to get to sleep to on a night and this is certainly a good video. The repetition makes it relaxing, alas the clever camera work and expressions that could burn holes in concrete make it so I want to watch instead of sleep. Selfishly and nosily, I wish I knew if the comments get read by the creator...

Well I am not greedy so I will just take my small share and if you would show me the way out now, I would be so grateful....I mean I am already super thankful that, ever since I stumbled in here, you have been kindly keeping me cornered to protect me from those kobolds and spitter thingies and the worse one, a big old dragon I'm guessing. Never mind the kind offer of the drink and the meat I'll just get out of your way... aah you're right in my way...there. Hmm? But... I don't want to be your little truffle....no offence...oh...I see. Once again my blind "happy place" optimism has led me into a ditch. But I CAN'T work...my rhythmic sobbing is making me too weak. Jim, you did it again, you found a new angle. Looking at the rear view of Front viewer/character ( I'm so present in here with my acting hands! ) looking on to Mid and the, massively up close, main character and from Mid, leading the imagination on towards the Back to the unseen, but easily imagined, cavernous creepiness. So...I've just confused myself to some extent there, so hope you know what I mean. I feel all I can do now is to replay and fall asleep to the steady solid sounds of mining and be comforted to know that when I wake up I'll be back outside, as that dwarf will have given up on me ever becoming a usefull little earner.
