Dwarfie Stane | Mysterious & Unique Rock-Cut Tomb on Hoy Island, Orkney, c.3000 BC | Megalithomania

Explore Orkney with Megalithomania in August 2023. Details here: www.megalithomania.co.uk/orkne.... An exploration of the enigmatic Dwarfie Stane on the Island of Hoy in Orkney, Scotland. It is a 28 ft long sandstone boulder but carved out with a megalithic block as a door. The interior is like the rock-cut 'hypogeums' of Malta, Sardinia and Menorca. Hugh Newman also shares legends of giants, dwarves and strange lights, as well as a strange discovery of an egg-shaped stone, like the geometric stone spheres discovered in this area of Scotland. Includes exclusive aerial footage.

I was wondering when you were going to include the fairy folk in your videos. All this talk about giants and almost no mention of a people on the other side of the scale. I guessed the idea of a smaller hominid is too mainstream for you, lol.

The Stane has amazing acoustic properties. Two guys humming inside were heard at the top of the cliffs nearby, Dwarfie hamer.

The Soay sheep of the St. Kilda island group, a short skip from Hoy to the Hebrides, are genetically closest to Sardinian Mouflon. Just saying. Good microphone set up by the way.

All these 'tombs', tunnels, and so forth make me think that they were built by someone greatly fearing a wide-spread and repetitive devastation descending from above over a long period with 'breaks'.

Weathering on the inside shows constant habitation or usage and due to the lack of paths it must have been used for thousand of years.

You have to ask yourself if the Orkney's enjoyed a warmer climate in the past, pre-pole shift.

Sounds like the little people decided the neighborhood was too crowded and moved far away - to the hills outside Marfa, TX where they still show their lights from time to time - and no one has been able to find the source of the lights to this day.

To make a Shaman/Druid, a near death experience by means of sensory deprivation & fasting to starvation is required; You might need an apparatus like that. When the christian God sacrificed his weekend. He was closed up in a tomb.

It's a safe, you hide your valuables, food stores, the women and children in if your island was getting invaded or raided. Probably had several uses in fact, could have doubled as a Sheppards shelter
