what is the equivalent of XB8608 battery protection ic
why not they use one mosfet it seems to me stupid that they use 2 eacch one if opened it will cut the current path so why not only one instead of 2?

they are oppositely connected so that if the overcharging is detected and interrupted, only one direction current will be avoided(charging current) but on the other end the discharge path will be free. and vice-versa
