: The Double Coil was invented to be able to combine more connections, only. It has the same power as the simple one (in the case of the same speaker model) and therefore DOES NOT TOUCH. The two are equal in power, and in some cases a few parameters of the speaker are changed, usually single coil has greater sensitivity, which will make play more. The double coil is divided into 2, that is, it has 2 outputs, 2 pairs (+) and (-) and can be connected in series or parallel, since the single coil can be connected in series or parallel if combined 2 or more speakers. Parallel connection: The purpose of making a parallel connection is to decrease the impedance value. The more speakers connected in parallel, the lower the impedance. To connect one or more loudspeakers in parallel simply connect the positive poles with the positive poles and the negative poles with the negative poles. : Serial connection: The purpose of connecting speakers in series is to increase the impedance value. The more loudspeakers connected in series the higher the impedance will be. To connect one or more loudspeakers in series, simply attach the positive polio from the first speaker to the negative pole of the second speaker. Thus, there are two poles (one positive and one negative) which will be connected to the amplifier : Impedance: Most automotive speakers are 2ohms, 4ohms, 2 + 2ohms or 4 + 4ohms and the pros are 4ohm and 8ohms. So the speaker connection has to have the same amplifier impedance, ie if the module has 2 outputs of 4ohms, you need two 4ohms speakers, one in each channel. Technically, impedance is the result of capacitive reactance and inductive reactance in a given circuit. In a very brief way, impedance can be defined as the electrical resistance (measured in Ohms) of a circuit through which an alternating current passes. In a loudspeaker, this resistance varies according to the frequency (measured in Hz) of this electric current. It is due to variation depending on how often the resistance of a loudspeaker is called impedance (not simply resistance). Also for this reason you will never be able to measure the impedance of a speaker just by using a multimeter.... I LOVE BASS!!!
