Duval Asphalt Jacksonville Baldwin Rail Trail
10.8 miles of 14.5 mile trail - milling and repaving. The trail is part of a nation-wide, federally initiated "Rails to Trails" program. The City of Jacksonville purchased this abandoned railroad corridor in 1992 - it's two paths: one unpaved for horseback riding, one (newly repaved) for walking, jogging, skating and biking.

Why didn’t you do the whole 14.4 miles? The first 3.5 miles of pavement is still messed up and very bumpy. Are there plans to do that section as well? Great job on the rest of the trail though.
