Dutch Street Food in Amsterdam | Albert Cuyp Market
We had a blast trying out so much street food at the biggest outdoor market in Amsterdam, the Albert Cuypmarkt. A must-visit for any foodie that visits the Netherlands. Thanks to Dennis and Tim is STUFR for showing us around.

I'm so happy for Shinichi that he finally visited Amsterdam because he wanted to go there so much! Enjoy your stay! Much love and appreciation from Germany
My sister lives in the Pijp and when my husband and I visited, we went to this market every day! We loved it, and I’m so glad you could visit!
I would gain so much weight there. I loved the sound of the rain hitting the umbrellas.
Stroopwaffle is soooo good. Especially warmed
Thank you for sharing authentic street food. I wish Satoshi was on this trip.
Ha, the rain makes a lot of our foods so much better. Individually the weather is bad, and the food is meh, but together, when the weather is cold/rainy, the food warms the inside, it is very nice to eat 'stamppot' in the cold.
Thank you to Tim and Dennis! All the food looked AMAZING!

Not strange that it is somewhat ammonia tasting to you, as the salt used is not regular NaCl table salt, but ammonium chloride NH4Cl.

The chocolate kisses are similar to something we have in the UK called "Wallnut Whips" - chocolate shells with a whipped eggwhite/sugar centre, only topped with a candied wallnut and without the waffle at the base. Wallnut Whips are my adoptive mother's favpurite and I bought her several different varieties/flavours for Christmas.
