EN - Passengers board KLM's McDonnell Douglas DC-7 De Koraalzee at Schiphol, after which the plane departs for Anchorage in Alaska around midnight. During the flight, some passengers sleep, children draw and the position is determined using special instruments. After the stopover in Anchorage, the plane flies over the North Pole to Tokyo. With street and city shots of Tokyo, including babies in the hospital, market vendors, eateries, geishas in a restaurant, vagrants, alcoholics and neon signs.
