Dutch Farmers: Canaries in the Globalist Coal Mine | Michael Yon & Eva Vlaardingerbroek | EP 340

Ep. 340
Watch Jordan Peterson's "Vision & Destiny" on DW+ bit.ly/3KrWbS8
Peterson draws upon his extensive research and relatable real-life experiences to illustrate how to develop attainable goals for intimate relationships, meaningful friendships, and your career. Transform the chaotic potential of the future into actuality - with a vision.
Dr. Jordan B. Peterson, Michael Yon, and Eva Vlaardingerbroek discuss recent events encircling the Dutch farmers protest, how their anti-globalist movement mirrors the Canadian Freedom Convoy, and how their message has resonated across the world despite best efforts to silence their voices.
At age 19, Michael Yon completed Green Beret training. His Green Beret experience taught him the art of observing and surviving in the most dangerous environments on earth. Combining his skills as a writer and a photographer, and with the encouragement of fellow veterans, Michael began his correspondent career by traveling to Iraq in December of 2004. That was the first step in his nearly 20-year journey-traveling the globe to report on world events firsthand. He has traveled to more than 80 countries including China, India, Bhutan, and Vietnam studying issues from cannibalism, information warfare, insurgency, protests, migration wars, and more. His most recent journey has taken him from Asia to Europe, America, and Central and South America to study the conditions for global famine.
Eva Vlaardingerbroek is a Dutch political and cultural commentator and legal philosopher. She has been featured on Fox News, GB News, Tim Pool, 'Achtung, Reichelt' and many other media outlets across the world. She received her masters with honors from Leiden University in 2019 and after getting involved in Dutch politics, she's now made it her mission to be a conservative voice for freedom and justice in the Western world. Her motto in life and eponymously titled substack is 'Resit Much, Obey Little'
Dr. Peterson's extensive catalog is available now on DailyWire+: bit.ly/3KrWbS8

Seems like worldwide phenomenon of government against citizens. But it’s not a coincidence it’s a coordinated plan to destroy democracy and subject people to strict governmental controls. Let’s not forget and consider what is happening here in America; the buying up of vast tracts of agricultural lands by the devious Bill Gates and the mysterious fires at the numerous food- processing plants here? There’s definitely a common theme a play here and over there in Holland.

You haven't been watching enough on this "attack" apparently. Not all farmers, just intensive animal husbandry is being targeted (or at least should be targeted) and for good reason. This Nitrogen-crisis is a severe problem that has been looming for some time but the main polluters (intensive animal husbandry) have actually been spared multiple times by former governments and especially the CDA. The Rabobank (and maybe other banks) and the supermarkets, who are main instigators of this problem by subsidizing and incentivising intensive animal husbandry, have also not been reprimanded and have been alarmingly out of the public eye. Instead, construction was targeted. And now because of that the low speed of construction is now a national problem and the nitrogen issue is only getting more and more serious by the day. The misrepresentation of this issue in the international media is truly disturbing. Everywhere it's painted as "An attack on the farmers" while it is so much more complicated.

As a small scale farmer in central British Columbia, Canada, l feel for these people. My family has farmed as far back as we can find in our history, and to think that governments, including our own here in Canada, will attempt to control us, to stop us, is beyond unfathomable. We need to rise up and refuse to bow down to the corruption that has brought us to where we are today. Our lifestyle, and indeed our very existence, is at risk.

Tell everyone! Show them what's happening in Holland! Don't believe the government, the WHO, and the WEF! Always, do your research, because you can't trust the mainstream media. Take a look at alternative media. Search for information about the Great Reset, smart cities, etc. Also, look up information about green energy from wind and sun. It's not green! China and Africa are being ruined for the metals they need. Water pollution, deforestation, chemicals, and child labor. It's way worse than using gas, petrol, or diesel. They'll tell you, you believe in conspiracy theories. In Holland, the new definition of conspiracy theories is "prediction" or "announcement". Be aware of what's happening. Make other people aware too. You have to do this now! When your government starts doing the same thing, they'll lie all the time. The mainstream media will lie too. A lot of Dutch citizens still believe everything they're told. Typically the divide-and-conquer strategy. You have to make sure, the American people see this coming. You must resist everything on the 2030 agenda! And remember: all those great WEF-goals against poverty, starvation, pollution... The WEF-people are the exact same people with their big companies who created all those problems in the first place. Those people have more than enough money to pay their employees, stop using plastic, and create durable products. They just won't.

Such an important discussion, thanks Dr Peterson, Michael Yon and Eva Vlaardingerbroek. Everyone around the western world needs to watch this discussion and tell all their family and friends about it. I loved my 10 days in Amsterdam in 2015, what an amazing city with its canals and beautiful churches and buildings, the outstanding museums and art galleries. It stuck me as a place where the people are proud of their great history and heritage, in the galleries I noticed groups of local teenagers being shown round by experts explaining everything to them. In the Van Gogh museum a young Dutch family were enjoying the paintings, even the toddler looked up in amazement at "Starry Night". This is a culture and history to be proud of, not forgetting all the innovation, exploration and science too. I've flown with KLM just six times but it's my favourite airline. The WEF and UN plans must be resisted at all costs. Since this interview took place, the Rutte government has fallen, so perhaps the tide is turning. Solidarity with the Dutch farmers from the UK. And by the way Dutch 36-month matured cheese is some of the best I've eaten, couldn't get enough of it in Amsterdam and bought some home with me too. There was an amazing cheese shop in the Canal Ring area, complete with resident ginger cat. The TriCity plan sounds terrifying.

I am a German farmer and I am grateful that you put up this topic. Sadly the politicians in Europe went so far with their illusions of how agriculture should work, that I am more and more convinced, that it will get far worse. More people will starve, food shortages will develop and farmers will still earn less and less. But (I hope) at some point, when the wealth of our continent fades and people start to care about how not to starve, things will rearrange to the better. But as i said: first, it will get worse. (It's desert ahead!)

I’m am American farmer, and I just went to a course for the FDA certification to grow and harvest produce. It was so absurd that an hour in, I thought that there has to be another agenda. There is: we have to list everything that we grow; how it’s irrigated; harvested and packaged. In other words, they know IN DETAIL everything produced on this farm should a national crisis develop and they want to cease it. And as In Holland, now the program is “voluntary”, but that’s ending soon enough.

Based on what the politicians of the Netherlands are doing, the young man's education and efforts have been fruitless.

At the moment life is even much more expensive due to very high inflation and energy costs. But despite these issues Europe wants to do everything to keep the Euro alive which is in fact a political project. The Euro is under high pressure. The solution the politicians see is to decrease the competitiveness of our country to boost the competitiveness of the less wealthy European countries. So we may expect even higher tax rates now! Can you imagine that? An other solution is to increase the incomes. But that will have a negative impact on our attractiveness for companies. So this is also not a good idea. I’m curious how far our politicians will go to keep the Euro alive.

I have been listing with much attention to this interview. Firstly, I would like to thank all three of you for bringing attention to what is happening here in the Netherlands. Your compliments about the farmers really touched me, because my family is centered on a farm that is run by my father, my uncle, and my older brother, and that has been in my family for generations. Now I will try to give my own perspective on the issue at hand. I observed that a lot of the claims that were made during the interview told me more about the person making the claim, than the subject involving the claim. Therefore, I thought it might be helpful to share my own perspective as the son of a Dutch farmer. The story begins with the designation of so called ‘Natura 2000’ regions for the preservation of natural habitats, as well as the preservation of wild plant and animal species. This is indeed an idea that originated in Brussels. The nation states are responsible for the management and preservation of these areas and the native species. It does not tell a nation how to do this. But this is where nitrogen enters the stage. Before moving on, I would like to explain a bit more about nitrogen. As we all know, the atmosphere here on earth consists for approximately 78 % of nitrogen. However, this is non-reactive nitrogen. In this case we are talking about nitrous oxides (from e.g. cars or industry) and ammonia (mostly from the agricultural sector) these are reactive nitrogen species, and as the name already reveals, they can easily react with other substances. It is observed that high concentrations of these substances have a significant impact on the living conditions in a habitat. Something that is not very useful if we are trying to preserve those same habitats… Secondly, I would like to address that these substances are different from CO2, because their effects are much more local (I don’t know the exact numbers but we are talking about a radian of 10-100 km from the source.) This is an important point to understand because it gives credit to the claim that cutting livestock here in the Netherland will have a local impact. Okay, so Holland deliberately chose nitrogen as an important means to meet the requirements involving those Natura 2000 areas. For example, we have nitrogen norms that are much lower than say, Germany. We have 0.05 mole, they have 7.0 mole. Obviously, this makes things really hard. But fortunately, the Netherlands constructed nice regulatory means that made sure that the Netherland would not really come to a halt as a result of these outrages self-constructed norms. But this all changed when environmentally oriented people stepped to court and the court denounced that these regulatory means were a violation of the law. This meant that things came to a halt. Building projects were stopped. (Not great when there is a big shortage of homes.) Initiatives for expansions were not possible anymore etc. My personal belief, and this is simply because it is the easiest explanation, for why our prime minister, Mark Rutte, the longest sitting president of our county, called the nitrogen issue the most complicated issue he has ever encountered during his time in office, is I think not because of some sort of big mega project for a city, or because they want to do an ‘attack on our identity.’ No, the simple truth is because the government just doesn’t know what to do anymore. Important decisions have to be made concerning nitrogen, as soon as possible, because our current situation is a mild chaos resulting, or that will result, in big negative social and economic consequences for all the people living in the Netherlands. (Some people believe that human well-being should be subordinate to nature, so they don’t really care about this.) Farmers are angry because the government is currently trying to fabricate a solution that is very costly for farmers, and we don’t think that that it is fair or just, because of the incredible progress that the agricultural sector here in the Netherlands has already made, and the costs it has already had to absorb in the last few decades. And the message we get from our government simply makes us feel as though we are not valued and respected when we decide to devote our lives to the production of the worlds food supply. I hope this was helpful.

Thank you, yes, this was helpful. The speakers never quite came to explaining the situation from the start. I think, however, that you are too nice a person yourself to really understand how vicious other people can be, especially when they are in places of power. Rutte & Kaag & their allies know perfectly well what to do, because they get their orders from the WEF, either through Brussels or directly from Schwab. These people do not care about other people. They don't care about nature either. Natura 2000 will be off the agenda as soon as the agricultural soil can be made into MONEY because of all the houses that can be built there and all the business that can be done. Tri-state-city is not just a "big mega project for a city". It is one huge network that includes all of the Netherlands plus Keulen and Brussel,. All the now separate cities will be connected and ruled as one. Tri state city is the prototype for "the new normal", where people will be ushered to live in cities instead of on the countryside, where they (God forbid!) could grow their own food and have some chickens and a community to trade their produce among themselves, instead of buying their factory-food from the multinationals. The cows don't need to go because they produce CO2 or nitrogen. They need to go, because more money can be made by "the right people" when we eat artificial meat. This really is a global issue, because Big Money can be made on every corner. Rotterdam will be the end point of the "Zijderoute" (Silk Route), which the Chinese plan to resurrect. Only this time, it will not be silk but silicon that will be transported from Rotterdam all over the world (and of course also a lot of poor quality Chinese products of all kinds, that too quickly will end up as poisonous garbage contaminating our planet even more...). Even now, it is hard to buy something which is not "made in China"... I guess tri state city itself itself will look pretty much like a Chinese metro-pole by 2030.

@@hexxan007 The reason we have a nitrogen crisis in the Netherlands is because of the verdict that was made when 'green' people stepped to court. I personally believe that this simply wouldn't have happened if that judgment would have been different. Based on that assumption it would mean that in your line of thought 'the government' was initially the entity that chose to go to court, against it self well to speak! Please point out if my logic is wrong if you disagree. The reason I have a different opinion about the motives is because I trust my government, and even though they have made a lot of decisions I am fiercely against, I still trust democracy. And I am not ashamed to say that. This is the subject that a lot of the people around me have been talking about, and I have simply never heard anyone make the claims that were made in this interview. And my social circle is not bad informed. My dad is very active for local politics, and my friends dad is the leader of the BBB party of my province, so he is probably the best informed. He is also directly in contact with the BBB's political figures in the Hague, meaning van der Plas herself. I have more confidence in them, then the people interviewed here.

I'm in Australia which is also an exporter of food, and yet we've had food shortages, and sometimes rationing since covid began. It continues, and they can't blame it on covid anymore. Empty supermarket shelves, as I've heard people did in Soviet Russia, you buy what they have, not what you want, because you don't know what they won't have next week.

I went to the Netherlands last year, and let me just say that this was one of the most agriculturally driven nations on earth. The country is tiny, yet a huge portion of it is farmland. The quality of produce there is unmatched, also. I can't believe they think there is a "nitrogen crisis." The environment there is maintained in superb condition. It's simple to see that the best way to infringe upon the liberties of the Dutch, would be by controling the agricultural output.

which is why we have our 'leaders'. we hand over our personal sovereignty by voting for a politician. we say 'here's the power and money to go take care of our problems and do the dirty work we don't want to do'. they then pocket the $ and work to get re-elected, not what they promised to do. we are then surprised every time a politician is discovered to be a fraud. our NEED for 'leaders' is our undoing. the system is BROKEN top to bottom side to side back to front BROKEN. rule yourself and be happy with the result.

I shed a tear when Dr. Peterson praised my country near the end of the video. Thank you so much for bringing all this to light. You're right, this is a beautiful and incredibly civilized country and it's horrifying to see what's happening here. I'm not optimistic in the slightest, despite the recent victory of the BBB (Farmer-Citizen Movement political party), but the only things we can really do is to vote, change minds, donate and become politically active, so that's what I'm going to do. And to people from other countries, pay very close attention to what's happening here and in Canada. Because if this is a sign of what's to come for your part of the world, you would be at least a little bit more prepared for it than we are. God bless Dr. Peterson, Eva, Michael, Caroline van der Plas and everyone else who's fighting this tiranny.

It's not a sign of what's to come. It's evidence of what has been and gone. This fight is lost already. Its just that most people are only just realising there was a fight at all. It's just lazy and uninvolved citizens getting what they deserve at this point

Only relying on voting is a fools game. Create parallel economies & societies. Grow your own food and buy and support your local farmers, make clear to them you are willing to us labour, barter, cash, silver, gold or crypto. Avoid the banking cartel as much as possible, be your own bank. Use open source software for internet and computer operating systems too.

I’m Dutch and I think it’s really really good you’re giving this attention! We just had elections (regional, not national) and everything was won by one political party, the BBB, (Farmers and Civilians Movement). I think that shows how unsatisfied our people are with how our country is being governed.

Its was mostly protest votes there. They are backed by a big lobby group and won’t do anything for citizens. But people saw what an idiot Thierry is and how far gone he is. So they wanted something else and BBB is that party for now. Until they fuck up too. Just wait. I don’t say VVD is a good party here because they are not. In a way I have some nostalgia for Balkenende. They did some pretty good things then and they baking crisis started by the US fucked up.

Once in a while someone stands up who has such an intellect as to gain a great understanding of the world and its inhabitants. In the old days we called them a messiah. Today we call them visionaries. Jordan Peterson is one of them. A true visionary with an immense insight into people and society. To me he is more than a visionary, a true hero, because he encounters a lot of resistance with his knowledge and the propagation of it, but still continues tirelessly.

Ik ben Nederlands. I am dutch but left Holland in 1981 and moved to the UK. I am so glad I do not live in Holland anymore as I could not possibly have kept my mouth shut on what has happened to my Country. when I left in 1981 (ish), we just started to get some people to encourage immigrants to enter Holland, even though they had NO IDEA where they were from and what they believed in. I know the UK has been following the similar sort of trend since but Holland, being only a small country, could not possibly accommodate all these foreigners with their own ways and customs without seriously changing the fabric of the country

@Jordon Peterson you should look into the Indian Farmers Protest which went on for nearly one and half years, starting with the Punjabi farmers. Millions of them descended upon Delhi, the capital, and settled on the outskirts, not budging until the government backed down. Sadly this, the biggest ever protest in history, was hardly even noticed in the West.
