@@nugnorab5257, just happens naturally over time through the selection process. I look for certain characteristics in brood fowl and eventually all lines end up with similar build, features, and styles.

We actually don't train them to do it. We only have 5 or 6 that do it, and most of those are directly out of the first one that did it. So it's really just a high level of intelligence and us earning their trust over time.

How did you train roosters to go to you’re arm?

We don't train them to do it. It all started with a Hatch brood cock 3 or 4 years ago. He just started flying up onto our backs and shoulders and eventually some of his offspring started to do it as well. From what we've seen so far it can't be taught, they either do it naturally or not at all.

Yeah, really young birds do it occasionally while being fed. But not mature fowl and never more than one.
