Michigan basketball coach Dusty May met with the media to discuss his nearly completed roster, detailing his strategies in recruiting both the transfer portal and high school prospects. The Wolverines headman discussed the attributes of several players including Vlad Goldin, Roddy Gayle, Rubin Jones, Trey Donaldson, Lorenzo Cason, Justin Pippen, and Durral Brooks. He also highlighted his extensive efforts fundraising for NIL and shed light on his staff hires and how they complement him.

Good God this guy is unreal! He just screams championships to me. The mentality and the confidence in himself to produce great basketball is just so great to hear and hopefully see. Though i do feel like his words will be put into reality. Basketball coaches are a different breed aren't they?! Could not have found a better hire for this university i dont think. Dusty just feels like Michigan to me

Yeah, but something tells me he will bring this energy to the podium after consecutive losses, and that could get annoying.

May is exactly what the doctor ordered for this program. Has a clear vision for the program, knows how to navigate the new era of NIL and the portal, knows how to handle PR. So stoked for Michigan basketball!
Been enjoying the change to the man as coach and his ability to get people. Hopefully it works out cuz I'd like to enjoy watching the basketball again lol
Why is it so difficult for these Press Conferences to be setup to hear the questions?
Good I.Q. for picking guards. Michigan has had a problem with finding floor generals. There has been no good reading of the offenses and defenses by the guards lately. The point guard is the floor general. The shooting guard should not only shoot, but help the point guard when it comes to ball movement. Should be a one-two-punch. We now have big guys that are mobile, which is also a plus. Will Tschetter was a better player in the paint than Tarris Reed, but should have been shooting a lot more 3's every game. His shot is point on. That was never exploited by Juan. Can't wait to see what happens with the new regime.
Dusty will soon dominate the Big 10….a great coach and teacher.
