I think it's better for sans to not be the first reach papyrus because if he did that it would be a carbon copy of dusttale the fangame so I think for the scenario here is what I think should be : after the battle with the human sans locked the door and went to snowdin to kill some monsters. but then frisk reached to papyrus first and they killed him. sans has a mental breakdown : papyrus no no no no no no no no.... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. and then "papyrus appears behind him" "papyrus" : I am here brother.. sans goes to his left to see his "brother" still alive. sans happily is with papyrus. but then we get a shout at the human asking why sans is speaking to himself.? then "papyrus" says to sans : I am not real " brother"... when "papyrus" disappears sans now has a terrible realization his brother is truly dead now he has to live with that like every timeline. (in this version I think it's better to have sans not kill papyrus because sans will act like sans so yeah they are still brothers.) and having the human kill papyrus will show us the point that the human is evil and I prefer a dusttale where we play as sans because I want to know how his morals go and change and how he changes as well in persona. here is my suggestion for the story of this renew.
