The methods are more like Comic Thanos though. MCU Thanos left half the people on each planet because he thought he was helping them while both Sanos and Comic Thanos were just racing towards death. Literally, in this case

This version of Sans is very calculating. Taking his time, wearing you down slowly, measuring everything about the battle. So when it finally ramps up, he knows EXACTLY what the best way to do it is. The only thing scarier than a crazed murderer... is a smart one.

Yes and that one phrase hit me hard "pray for the best prepare for the worst" its phrase i commonly use with the word hope instead of pray and expect instead of prepare for . The thing is if you live by that phrase you become cold and very couscous about every thing you do. So its kinda cool seeing him act on the phrase

I love the atmosphere of this game. The haunting singing with the epic guitar. And I love how sans attacks. He’s fine going slow, and not overwhelming you with damage. He knows his mistake the first two times around was tiring himself out too fast, and he’s giving you simple attacks, but the fight feels a bit longer. He doesn’t just let you attack him, so when he finally gets tired and recovers his stamina he’s able to tank a shot. Also the spritework is godly

21:40 something i noticed on my own playthrough is if you do damage anywhere in the 690 range, he'll say "...69 damage... nice." before he falls down and starts the monologue into phase 2 i love this game so much 😭

Bro i love this, they thought of EVERYTHING the frisk dance at the beginning, the pause inbetween the text where you expect a pun but he just says "too much?" The echoing sound in the overworld. It shows that he's not insane, he's just done messing around WHATSOEVER, this is leagues of improvement from when it was first being made.

Has anyone noticed that in Phase 2, each time Sans reflects an attack, it will break a piece of the fight bar? By that I mean the thing that will determine how much damage you deal... It's a really cool detail to me.

Yeah, Sans has resigned his post as Royal Judge after his first dusting which it can be argued that his KR sideffect is only inherent to that post.

@@dorothynycholas5987 Sans (at least official sans) is never stated to have actually been an official judge, just that he judges you. I'm pretty sure if the Underground has an actual judge it might not be sans, since it's never explicitly stated.

Random Fun Fact: When you attack Dust, he actually looks at the slash as he dodges before reverting his gaze back onto you.

Honestly, your editing has gotten so much better, it used to be quite common for things to be repeated over and over, making things pretty repetitive and leading me to skipping over stuff but I never had any want to skip over anything here since things aren’t unnecessary repeated Great job!

Even with the short time this has been out, I’ve been waiting for this

gotta say, love the detail that sans does more damage than normal but doesent apply karmic retribution, i dont know if thats intentional but it easily reminds me of the official dust tale fangame

I played this on my own before watching this video, and this might be the most fair sans fan game I've seen. Yeah, it's _incredibly_ difficult, but there isn't an attack that feels impossible to no hit. Even the random gaster blaster spam, which usually sucks in other fan games, feels fair because it doesn't do that thing where it snipes you when you go back into the menu

So, are we gonna appreciate how much they put their efforts into this game? Awesome animations, good sprites, smooth movement, nice story.

So obviously for ballancing reasons, Sans is actually weaker in this fight than he should be, because you have less HP and him doing his no I-Frames thing, with karma would be insanely hard. But for fun, lets see how hard this fight actually would be. Assuming Sans killed every single Monster that you didn't and started at LV 1 (Or maybe LV 0? But we'll ignore that). The max amount of EXP you can get in Undertale before the Sans fight is 50000. At LV 7 you have at least 300 EXP and at most 499 EXP. Meaning Sans has 49501-49700 EXP. Putting him at LV 18 (Possibly 19 if we assume Alphys gave him enough EXP, though I doubt Alphys gives much since she is never shown fighting herself). At LV 18 you have 34 ATK and 4 DEF (Also 88 HP but Monster HP seems to be way higher than human HP most of the time. But it would be insane amounts of HP most likely). So in conclusion. Sans would have weak Karma since you didn't kill as much, but would also deal 34 damage for every frame you're in one of his attacks. He can still dodge however hitting him will do very little damage because of your low LV and his very high LV. Also given that Sans is stronger he should have way more complicated attack patterns. So have fun folks...

Fdy dusttale sans would probably be accurate to how powerful sans with high LV would actually be. But for the sake of making games fair and enjoyable most dust games are pretty tame.
