2:23 shows how effortless of a gift Robin had, you could see the delight/relief/anticipation in Dustin's face before you see Robin. How cool.

One of my fave interviews of yours ever Bobbie Wygant! Hook is one of my all time fave films, such a masterpiece and the only live version of Peter Pan I will ever watch. Dustin Hoffman is so grand, iconic, legendary and larger than life as Captain James Hook. Love his wig, the cool eyebrows/ moustache the makeup artists did and his royal fierce red coat and pirate regalia. Love that Robin comes and interacts with you both, and love when Dustin talks about how much absorbing/ watching films was his sanctuary as a child, I can very much relate to that. And yes the classic Disney cartoons and characters/ Looney Tunes is another huge part of my DNA as well. And adore his laugh, wit, sense of humour, charm and the “dirty” joke at the end. 🤩🏆👑💎🏴☠️🤤🎥🎬🌟♥️💎🎭❤️✨🫶🏻👏🏻🎞🥵📸😍😆🥰😘😂🤣

What's sad about this interview now is that Dustin was able to identify over 30 years ago the insecurities that sadly led to Robin Williams taking his life. Dustin knew deep down that Robin had some hidden insecurities but was the guy you would just love to give a big hug to. I hope Dustin was able to help Robin out during those times they worked together. It's more remarkable that a genius actor such as himself recognized the genius that overshadowed the sadness of another great actor we had in Williams. I miss Robin and if he could even make a great actor like Dustin Hoffman laugh and appreciate his talent that says everything you needed to know about Robin. He was a true shining light in a world of darkness.

robin had a neurological disease called lewy body demencia, and one of the outcomes is suicide!!! so don't talk bullshit.
