The animation and song interpreted in the most literal way is; The boy is being bullied and made fun of by his peers and even the teachers. Them looking like demons and vampires who 'eats' his masterpieces that he took so long to make. When the teacher grabbed his shirt, he, in a rage, dreamed/thought of murdering the teacher, who was drawn like a demon. However, someone (The dude in the suit) saw potential in him and gave him a helping hand or some sort. His statues got popular and he (who was now in a suit which means he's rich and powerful now. Or at least has some sort of superiority) decided to kill the bullies and everyone who made fun of him. (Also because if he really is now powerful, he could have easily did that) To me though, I saw it in a different type of light. The boy was made fun of his 'vampire and demon' peers for creating/sculpting statues. Why are they drawn as such while the boy was just a normal human? I think it's because everything that is shown in this animation is from the boy's point of view. And because they were so horrid/cruel to him, he pictured them as demons and vampires. When his peers were 'eating' his statues, which is made out of rock, why would they do that? I think it's because he imagines/thinks of it as such. But when they were 'chomping' on his masterpieces, I think it resembles how they are eating away his creativity, talent, hard work simply because he was doing things no one else was doing. His teacher, the one who grabbed his shirt, (from what I think), got mad and tried to 'wake the boy up from his delusions', just like how many teachers are today. Claiming that you would not be able to succeed if you take this path or such. However, it was obviously shown he proved them all wrong and many people now look up to him and his statues. His peers being poisoned/choking to death on something is them dying from their arrogance and ignorance, not being open minded and following stuff the 'traditional way'. So in the boy's mind, is them dying/suffering because they could have had a better life but they did not in the end. Kind of like karma? :,D I hope this made sense lmao

Also they were vampires, they were doing it for blood aka to see him suffer. Just like vampires need blood to survive, bullies ( to all of them) need someone to put attention on so they mask their own weakness and insecurities

I don’t know if he literally killed them or if it was a figurative sense of them being jealous. Of them drowning in their own regrets for treating him so poorly in the past now that he was so wealthy and successful. Or like eating away at themselves for said regrets and destroying themselves the same way they attempted to destroy him. Regardless though, your theory makes so much sense to me and I love it!

考察して楽しむのもいいけど、ただ聞いて感じたことを楽しむのだっていいと思うよ！

主人公がいじめっ子に物理的に仕返ししたって言ってる人多いけど自分の解釈としてはしてないんじゃないかなと思いました。何故なら歌詞の言う通り、いじめっ子たちは「今はきっとどこかで平和に暮らしているだろう」だから。 いじめっ子は生きており、現在の主人公は彼らの居場所を知ることも調べる気もないことがわかります。 No.10から本格的に主人公は過去を回想しだします。主人公は彫刻が好きでしたがいじめっ子や先生たちはそれを馬鹿にし彫刻や夢を破壊しようとします。それゆえに主人公にとって人の物を食い尽くすシロアリの類に彼らが見えているわけです。 子どもの頃の彼は思います「ねえ、先生あの時胸ぐら掴んだのは何故？あの瞬間は今ここで活きてるか？」(ここ＝作品発表の現在。役に立ってますかという意味) 大人になった彼は美術展で己の作品が観衆全ての視線を奪っている様を見ながらその問いに返します。「この瞬間は今ここで生きてるさ」そして己に近づいてきた蟻(過去)を拳で潰し息の根を止めて完全なる勝利を確信して笑います。 つまり主人公は物理的にではなく心理的にいじめっ子や先生に勝ったわけです。 しかしここからが重要なのですが、果たして本当に勝ったのか。いじめっ子は今もどこかで平和に暮らしてる。確かに主人公は夢が認められ、いじめっ子が言っていたことは否定されました。でも別に主人公が受けた傷ほどの罰を受けたかといえば違う。 つまり、全て主人公がリアルで夢を叶えることで妄想の中でいじめっ子を殺し、過去からようやく脱出する話なんだと思います。DEROは英語で嫌な奴、負け犬という意味ですが、音と字面的に出ろという日本語も含まれていると思います。過去からDERO！と主人公は叫んでいるのではないでしょうか。 大人になった主人公は最後己の過去の中でいじめっ子の死体を見て笑ったあと少し哀しい顔をして背を向けます。頑張って彫刻を続けて報われ過去のいじめっ子も夢を叶えることで倒しました。じゃあ何故哀しそうなのか、本当は要らない過去だと主人公は一方で分かっていたからだと思います。いじめられたから夢を叶えたわけではありません。しかし名声を得るまで主人公は作品を作るたびに過去がチラついていたでしょう。いじめっ子たちが平和に暮らしてる間、主人公は沢山の時間を過去の嫌な思い出によって奪われていました。ただその代償を払ってくれる者はどこにもいないのです。 名声と評価を得た主人公は背を向け逆方向へと歩いていきます。過去と逆方向。すなわち未来へと。過去から出てもう二度と気にすることはないでしょう。 そんな話だと思いました。

個人的にとても府に落ちる考察でした…！！すごいです！！

매우 개인적인 해석: DERO의 뜻은 낙오자. 무리에서 떨어져 어울리지 못하는 자를 뜻합니다 맨 처음 DERO라는 글자가 크게 띄워지며 글자 옆에 무슨 벌레같은게 지나갑니다. 아마 생김새를 보아하니 흰개미같은데.. 이걸 잘 기억해 주세요. 0:15 - 0:23 영상을 보면 누군가 쓰러진듯한 모습과 한입 깨문듯한 석상머리가 있죠. 가사에서는 마치 무언갈 회상하는듯 하며 장면이 넘어갑니다. 0:24 마치 무슨 일기를 쓰듯 숫자와 함께 오늘의 기분을 말합니다. 뿔이 있는 다른아이들은 식탁에 올려져있는 석고같은걸 먹고있는데 주인공은 먹지않죠. 0:32 - 0:35 혼자 먹지않은 주인공은 석고를 조각하고 그걸 흐뭇하게 보고있었는데 갑자기 선생으로 보이는 사람이 멱살을 잡아 버리죠. 0:41 얼굴이 빨개진게 화났다는걸 뻔히 알려주고 남자아이를 노려 봅니다. 아마 다른아이들과 다르게 주인공 혼자 억압에서 벗어나 석고의 활용법을 알고 재능을 뽐낸게 맘에 안든듯 합니다. 0:53 주인공의 손에 조각칼이 나타났다 사라지길 반복합니다. 아마 뭔갈 주저하는듯한 모습이군요. 0:55 주인공이 조각칼을 휘두름과 동시에 배경에는 안개같은게 피어오릅니다. 1:01 검은 공간속 선생은 어떠한 선에 살짝 넘은채 넘어진듯한 모습을 보이죠. 이 장면 또한 기억해주세요. 1:07 안개가 갑자기 다시 돌아가며 주인공의 표정은 변함 없지만 마치 무언갈 놓친듯한 표정을 짓습니다. 아마 0:55 구간은 주인공의 망상 즉 선을 넘었을때 생겼을 일입니다. 1:15 결국 공격하지 못하여 되려 얼굴을 한대 맞은 주인공은 익숙한듯 어느 석고상 앞에 섭니다. 아마 여기서 석고상을 만드는듯합니다. 1:22 하지만 아까 그 뿔이 달린 아이들이 찾아와 눈앞에서 보란듯이 주인공이 만든 석고상을 씹어 먹어버립니다. 여기서 한국어로 일이삼사오육칠팔구십을 새는데 이는 0:24 의 일기 숫자와 같은 숫자이므로 이 괴롭힘을 지속적으로 당하고 있단걸 뜻합니다. 1:37 가사를 보면 마치 뿔이 달린 아이들이 주인공을 낙오자 취급하는듯 합니다. 1:41 주인공의 생각인듯하네요. 주변은 자신이 잘못됐다하지만 주인공은 끝까지 포기하지않고 버팁니다. 1:47 다시 조각을 시작하더니 이번엔 무슨 박스같은걸 던져 버립니다. 무슨 통 같은데 아마 통속에 든 무언갈 석상에 뿌려버린듯 합니다. 이것도 기억해두고.. 1:52 어떤 남자가 주인공에게 와서 무언갈 권유하는듯 하자 남자아이는 흔쾌히 수락하고 어디론가 향합니다. 2:00 이 장면은 그들과 함께 있을때 주인공이 특정 선을 그은듯합니다. 아까 선생이 넘을 뻔하던 선인것 같군요. 2:12 주인공이 어디론가 문을 열며 검은 공간에도 빛이 들어옵니다. 그리고 거기서 아름답게 서있는 석상을 봅니다. 2:23 홀린듯 석상을 보던 주인공은 밑을 보곤 놀랍니다. 많은사람들이 이 석상을 구경하고 있고 그사람들은 전부 주인공처럼 뿔이 없습니다. 2:27 그시각 또 찾아온 뿔 달린 아이들은 석상을 또 먹기 시작합니다. 2:37 여자아이가 석상 머리를 박살내려는 순간 검은 공간의 선을 완전히 넘어버리게 되죠. 2:41 구경하던 주인공 앞에 인트로에 보이던 흰개미가 나타나고 주인공은 그걸 보고 주먹을 내리쳐 잡아버립니다. 2:43 결국 자신이 아닌 그 뿔이 달린 사람이 낙오자였다는걸 깨달은 주인공은 흰머리에서 검은색으로 물들며 마저 구경하죠. 이는 주인공이 흰개미와 같은 낙오자가 아닌 완전한 사람 또는 승리자 라는걸 뜻하죠. 2:51 석상을 먹은 아이들이 단체로 토하며 고통스러워하기 시작합니다. 3:00 1:47 구간에 던진 통에 뒤집혀 진채 붙여져있는 MTI-446 이는 살충제를 뜻합니다. 즉 주인공은 뿔달린 아이들이 석상을 또 먹을껄 알고 석상에 다가 살충제를 발라뒀던거죠. 결국 뿔이 달린 아이들 즉 낙오자들은 살충제를 과도하게 섭취함으로써 숨을 거두고 맙니다. 3:03 회상이 끝난 주인공은 마치 재밌는 물건이라도 본듯 한번 비웃어 주고 자리를 떠납니다. 결론: 주인공을 낙오자라며 놀리던 아이들이 되려 낙오자였고. 주인공은 살충제를 사용하여 그들을 죽임으로써 억압에서 풀려나 자유를 되찾는이야기

Dero: Some sort of loser a person amongst the dregs of society. Or A homeless person, a tramp; a social derelict, especially an alcoholic. I think its about a kid that starts off being different or more intelligent than the other kids. while his peers are eating materials he's creating sculptures with them the teacher does not like this so he confronts him and knocks down the kid's creation the teacher clearly wants the kid to follow a linear path and be like the other kids the kid then gets furious and imagines himself killing/hurting his teacher though then it cuts back to reality and his teacher punches him in the face at 1:07 then later when hes sculpting something else his peers try to destroy it i guess his peers look down upon him and think of him as a loser for doing something different. everyone just does not understand him at all his teachers and peers dont so they dis encourage because they just do not get it so then a stranger walks up to him and sees the potential in him then im guessing that he offers him some kind of position or job. he is later shown in a suit this may mean that hes a very important person now and what not so he then sees his past peers so he just killed them with a single slam im guessing that this part shows how powerful he is now and he can now i guess kill or punish the people who have laughed at him as a kid idk this is just a guess have a good day everyone So in summary he starts out as a loser amongst his peers and later becomes rich and powerful

I totally agree with your point of view except how he killed them, we can see that he is making sculptures in the beginning and the others "demon" boys see it as food, not a thing to sculpt...So everytime they will eat his work. (They do have fork and knife at 0,30 sec and I guess that's why the teacher is angry at the boy since he is playing with the food?) The main character is the only "demon" boy who is different from the others as you said. Later when the boy became rich and powerful, the people that harassed him come to see his work and do as they always do, eat his sculptures but this time the boy did put poison in it to killed them. Of course I'm not sure if I understood correctly so I can be wrong ^^
