"Dust In The Wind" Tutorial and Playalong Practice Video

Fun fact-(according to Wiki): Kerry Livgren of Kansas came up with this song because he had started messing around with some fingerpicking patterns as a study to get better at fingerpicking. His wife dug it and encouraged him to do something with it.
This session, like some of my others, is meant to be a play-along practice video as well as a tutorial. Knowing how to play something is only the beginning, you gotta get it in your body! And then you play it for the rest of your life and it keeps growing.
Don’t worry if it seems to be taking a long time to get this. If it’s hard, go slower or simplify till it feels good.
Hopefully you sing this song, or play it for someone else to sing.
I read all comments, and they help guide me on what to teach, so don't be shy.
Thank you for being here, happy music-ing.

Love the teaching style ! Thanks so much for teaching us these songs 🎸 relatively new player. Do you suggest playing scales daily?

if you can play anything daily you're winning. Scales are important if you're playing lead, and great in general, but most important is putting your hands on the guitar. So if that means noodling or playing covers, that's great.
