I am the one who kept that damn VHS tape for over 20 years and decided to offer this gem to the true Durutti Column fans. I personally don't even like their music but I assure you I attended this gig. I worked there that day pushing the backline into the stage after being unloaded from the truck that brought all the stuff from Oporto city.

Just discovered your amazing video, many thanks. I was at Aula Magna that unforgettable night and I remember Vini Riley saying, upon the insistence of clapping audience, that they didn't know any more tunes.

Thanks for that too. Yep, I can assure you Vini was quite a character. I remember clearly being told by someone from the staff that for medical reasons all he was only allowed to eat and drink was olives and orange juice.
