+Jordan Cooper the contrast really shows how fake the show is and how Fallon is still reluctant to free ball the show. Hopefully he takes after Craig Ferguson or Conan, or even Carson to make the show less fake and not funny

Honestly that is the first thing I noticed when I opened the video and I'm so happy someone shares my love for this collection

This clip highlights the biggest problem with many American talk shows: the fact that they are pre-recorded and scripted. British talk shows, such as the Graham Norton Show, are unscripted and this almost invariably leads to a genuinely funny and relaxed interview. In shows across the pond such as this one, the interview seems almost cringey at times when the conversation is made to look flowing, along with Jimmy's famous "fake laughter". This short clip shows that even a normally scripted host like Jimmy Fallon can in fact have a natural, funny and wonderfully entertaining interview live and without plan. This is how talk shows should be, it makes for a more genuine portrayal of both host and guest. Rant over.

+MrYlad I agree, but what can you do; it is all about how to wisely manage time in a profitable manner.The way they do things in American talk shows probably gives them a huge profit margin. This is what - at times - is great about America in general is that; as long as you make a product that is hyped and has sub par content, (not saying Jimmy Fallon show produces sub par content) American crowd will eat it up. Besides, the talk part of Jimmy fallon tonight show is the only part that I would say is sub par everything else his team and he makes is very well put together. Like the game shows, improv, etc.

+MrYlad Graham Norton is once a week, american talk shows are once a day, so it's more difficult to have every single time guests who are able to do a natural conversation with the host. I have also to say that Jimmy could have a conversation with Amy Poehler and a handful of friends, but otherwhise is not that good in adlibbing and stuff like that. Seth Meyers, Conan O'Brien, Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert are way better at this. And of course Craig Ferguson had totally unscripted and unprepared interviews.

He still didn't have feeling in his ring & pinky fingers, so he had a surgery over the weekend to repair some nerve damage from an old injury that was preventing his recovery from this injury...during the 2009 Emmys he had to do a bit where he fell on the floor and he hurt his elbow in the process & some nerves got damaged. He'll know if this surgery was successful in about 6 months.

So many witnesses from random journalists to makeup artists to airline stewardesses to fans on the street say Jimmy laughs all the time. It’s just part of normal conversation for him and I really don’t understand why asshole people are so obsessed with it. I’ll never forget when he was playing the best friends box game with Ariana Grande and the question was “What is your bad habit?” And Jimmy just sounded so SAD when he answered “…I laugh a lot.” Like this man is being forced to feel BAD for something so innocent he can’t really control, it breaks my damn heart.
