Watch out for weather conditions when it rains that Georgia clay can get really messy besides that just your basic safety gear and your good to go. One way trails and plenty of tracks and trails to checkout.
Place looks like an absolute blast

That’s the best part! So many cool cabins on site, you drive your quad/dirt bike or sxs from your cabin anywhere on the property. It’s literally an off-road paradise.

Just got back from a weekend trip. 7 hours for me from Florida. I’m from the panhandle and have never seen anything like this. Only downside is trails close at 4:30. Other than that it’s worth every hour to get there.
Fast flow trails, this place looks like a blast. Everything local for me is just beer drinking mud hole type of stuff. Sxs is fun, but they destroy trail systems.
@floridatrailrider305

Yeah I know what you mean about destroying the trails, in Ocala, Fl they had amazing trails to ride and SXS have chopped them up and make it a more uncomfortable bumpy ride. But if you’ve never been to Durhamtown I highly recommend going, place is awesome.

@@floridatrailrider305 what you mean by sxs’s ruining trail systems? New to sxs’s but been riding quads forever. Just moved to Ocala also from the 305. If you stay where you suppose to around here sxs’s too wide.

Good 'ol "Actionville', kinda miss being stationed at Camp LeJuene. I remember riding a few tracks at half moon, JMP, one out in the piney green area and and few others headed towards myrtle Beach. I miss riding out at topsail and by the fishing pier on base.
Wow! Awesome video. Love how spacious that place is. How much does it cost to ride for the day?

Sweet. Reminds me of the woods riding where I lived in Middle Tennessee. How long of a drive was it from Naples?

@@floridatrailrider305 a well known one was in West Point Tennessee. I don’t know the name. It was over 20 years. I think it’s still open though. You can climb “the wall.” The step up jumps were nuts too. Just do a Google search.

@Florida Trail Rider great video! Thanks for sharing. I'm looking forward to more videos. Down here in S Florida, we have areas to ride, but sometimes the black muck gets too damn thick at times where you spend half the time pulling each other out.

Where are you around?
if you support this place you support a owner that killed a man and then runs from paying the family what they are rightfully owed. what a piece of shit. he should be in jail and that park should be auctioned off to pay the family
@floridatrailrider305

It’s really sucks what happened and I don’t know all the details but to close this place down over a bad accident I don’t support, riders are losing places to ride everywhere and I drive 10 hours every year to ride at Durhamtown and it’s nothing but great times and memories. Anytime you ride there’s always risk at every turn. To close down a great riding area over a accident that happen isn’t fair to the entire riding community. No amount of money can replace a family member and it sucks when something happens they always try shutting down a spot and suck them dry for millions.
@stevedawley

@floridatrailrider305 well let me give you the details. owner was knocking trees down with excavator next to the mc track didn't close it like he should have. not knocked a tree onto a rider and killed him instantly. court found him guilty of negotiations, and awarded the family a judgment. the P.O.S closed the park filed bankruptcy turned it over to he daughter and reopened under a different name, just to keep from paying the family what they deserve.
@floridatrailrider305

That’s really unfortunate and can only imagine what a bad day it was for the family members of that rider. Of course the park/owner is at fault but I’m sure they never would of wanted anything like this to happen. This is the best park I’ve ever been to so it would suck to see it close down and I’m glad it’s still open. Hope the family gets some type of compensation.
Side by sides are so gay and destroy trail systems imo.
