    I Like these kind of films...i woked at many in LANCASHIRE and another in STAFFORDSHIRE and my father JIM LOWES worked at EASINGTON ...Thank you

    2:09 what a lovely little engine! Any chance it was preserved? So many old engines when we were kids and we just thought them dirty old things compared to the streaks that occasionally came through!

    The possibility is probably very small that it was preserved, it most likely went for scrap at some point!

    @@DurhamTelly Just looked at Beamish website and a very similar one running about. Not sure when Beamish open again.

    Beamish will know which colliery it came from, so perhaps there's a small chance that it's the one!

    No bother, I remember Blackhall Colliery well as we used to visit Crimdom Dene throughout the 70's and 80's.

    my grandads brother died their worked untill 70 died in explosion ,we no pic of him though

    @@DurhamTelly he was my great great grandad, got it wrong before. We knew nothing about him apart from he welsh and his name. Thx for sharing
