So let’s check out Durango Casino & Resort, a 200-room luxury property located at the point where Interstate 215 and Durango Drive meet.
Welcome to the world of excitement, Bright colors, and the incessant sound of slot machines!
Right next to the main entrance located Summer House what is a California-inspired restaurant that promises its visitors plenty of healthy foods options, alongside with extensive California wine list, refreshing craft cocktails and more.
Entering Durango casino was like stepping into a super fun place! There were cool colors and decorations, and the sound of slot machines made it exciting. Right by the main entrance, we found Summer House - a California-inspired restaurant with lots of healthy food options. They also had a big selection of California wines, tasty craft cocktails, and more. It added to the whole experience!
And next on our way was an amazingly beautiful Mexican restaurant Mijo whose walls are decorated with fresh flowers and greenery.
To reach the restaurant, you stroll through a lush garden that lead you to The main room, centered around the large bar. It’s feels like a tequila heaven here with a variety of options displayed for everyone to see.
In keeping with tradition, every Stations Casino features a central bar at the heart of its main building. At Durango Station, this gathering spot is called Oasis Lounge. a welcoming place where you can enjoy high-end, handcrafted cocktails made with unique ingredients.
Right next to the central bar is Durango Casino's culinary gem, Nicco’s Prime Cuts & Fresh Fish. This chic steakhouse offers an elegant dining experience with comforting dishes and sophisticated yet cozy atmosphere.
Nicco’s, an original steakhouse concept, delights with market-fresh seafood, prime meats, and a vibrant dining scene.
STN Sportsbook at The George Sportsmen’s Lounge is one of our favorite spots here, showcasing a 205-seat sportsbook, a stylish circular bar, over 4200 sq feet of LED space and easy wagering.
And now let’s Step into The George Sportsmen lounge itself, beautiful and spacious place, that offers chef-driven American fare, unmatched sports viewing, indoor dining, a lovely outdoor patio featuring wrap-around LED screens.
The welcoming and upbeat atmosphere at George Lounge, combined with the comfortably uncrowded setting, led us to choose this place for our dinner and drinks. and Our decision proved to be a delightful one.
And now let’s check out the food court at Durango Station! Believe me It's not a typical casino grub - imagine a massive 25,000 sq ft space filled with awesome, unique eats. They've got everything from famous spots like Irv’s Burgers to local favourites like Shang Artisan Noodle and Yu-Or-Mi Sushi. This place it's like a foodie's dream come true!
Durango features 83,000 square feet of casino space offering 2,200 of the latest slots and 60 plus table games, alongside individual High Limit Slot and high limit Table Games rooms.
And each of these rooms has its own bar and its own lounge for relaxation
And of course, like every other casinoDurango also has a gift shop. Bright and light, beautifully decorated and offering its customers clothes and various souvenirs including expensive and famous brands. But unfortunately we were very disappointed with the prices in this souvenir shop. I somehow think that $90 for a baseball cap is a bit too much even though it has the name of the casino written on it.
And of course, like every other casinoDurango also has a gift shop.
All vibrant and nicely decorated. They've got variety of apparel and hats with the Durango LOGO and plenty of souvenirs. But honestly, we were a bit disappointed about the prices. I mean, $90 for a baseball cap with the casino name? Seems a little bit pricey…
Another interesting observation is that in Durango we did not find any Starbucks coffee, but instead there are two Vesta coffee shops. The prices are approximately the same and they offer similar pastries and other snacks but I am very glad that Durango chose local coffee roaster over a world famous brand
The only two places we were not able to visit were Bel- Aire lounge and the pool area.
They were both closed for a private event, but we will definitely come here when it gets a little warmer and will make you a separate video about this places.
And just a few words about the gorgeous Durango Hotel's lobby - it's so bright, modern and beautifully decorated!
The florists really worked their magic, turning the place into a floral wonderland. It's a delightful atmosphere that makes you feel instantly welcomed.
