they're great... their first couple albums are more 50's/60's oldies sounding but this one they definitely captured more of a late 70's funk/disco/soul vibe. great band

Last week, I attended the first outdoor concert I've been to in years. My Morning Jacket was playing at the Greek Theater in Berkeley, and I had never heard of Durand Jones & the indications. As I walked through the concert gate on that warm summer night, all of my COVID isolation melted away. Beautiful vivid people flowing everywhere, all savoring the night. In the distance, I heard Isley-Brotheresqe guitars, and heavenly melted vocals that glided through my soul like butter. I perched myself high up on the grass hill that overlooked everything, sparked a joint, and went on a journey. Even though I was sitting, I couldn't keep my whole body from moving to the music; it was that good. After Durand Jones left the stage, I stayed for one song from My Morning Jacket, and took off. Durand Jones made my night. Thanks for the music.

My wife and I bought the tickets to see Durand Jones. We had not heard of my morning jacket. We were stoked they were coming to the Greek.
