I was at the Atlanta show when they played at six flags in '87. It was my first Duran show and a night I will always remember. When it ended everybody left but me. I cried for 15 minutes after the show not believing I had the chance to see them live. It was an amazing night!!❤

Remember this era well. Brings back memories of my first Dd concert in Belfast in 87. That white Kubiki Factor bass guitar was a dream of mine as a teenager but costs an absolute fortune lol.... JT doesn't get the respect he deserves as a bass player...

This concert was neither from the Rock In Rio concert in Brazil, nor was it filmed in January 1988. I attended the July 25th, 1987 concert at The Great Western Forum in Los Angeles and the July 27th, 1987 concert at Irvine Meadows Amphitheater and at both shows multiple film cameras were set up recording each night's show. It's not uncommon to film multiple concert's to compile the best footage and audio from different night's. A small fact of history is that the girl band The Bangles performed "If She Knew What She Wants" at these shows. Most of us have heard a CD of a show Duran played at The Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, CA also in July, during which John Taylor announces that they " can't resist making a movie" when they are in the Bay Area. Alluding to when they filmed their 1984 Oakland concert which is featured in "Arena: An Absurd Notion" and "As The Light's Go Down".
