I'm not surprised Elf's was just as good. They're stepping up their game. I'm not going to get theirs because I finally found a mascara that works for me other than Great Lash (now that's an Oldie right there, lol). It's still in the Maybelline family though. Lash Discovery is working great for me. I love the brush. The formula is a bit dry for my liking so I add a few drops of contact solution. This is the only mascara that I've been able to use a 2nd or 3rd coat with. Those extra coats are done to help separate more than anything. Great review as always... 😉

Now this is the exact kind of war I am talking about ❤️. Bring it on 🤣

I just watched a video from KZreadr Cat’s Eye Beauty (former professional ballerina) and she compared the Elf mascara to the Benefit one then she said it’s more comparable to the Tower 28 one so she did a comparison to that one as well and Elf out performed both. I’m getting the Elf one on my next order and saving me some money. I wonder what you think about comparing it to the Tower 28 one? 😘

They both look so good. When I used the grande lash serum, my eyelashes were long and benefit was my favorite mascara. I stopped with the serum 5 months ago and I have short and sparse eyelashes now. Benefit doesn’t look good anymore. I want to try the Elf mascara now. Great review girl! Thanks.

Definitely a dupe! Although I think you can juuuust about tell the difference with Benefit seeming to lift more and is darker. But like you said, only by a TINY amount, and only because you're comparing the two! If you just wore the Elf you wouldn't notice the differences. Roller Lash and Bad Gal Bang mascara have been my mascara heroes for years now, they're the only mascaras that do anything for my poker straight chinese lashes. My lashes *literally* point downwards (yours definitely do not!) and make my eyes look droopy unless i wear mascara lol.

Benefit was my first high end mascara. But when I discovered Drugstore mascara is better I haven’t went back. Both sides look good I think Elf is a good Dupe for Benefit.

I'm excited for the elf version if it doesn't smudge, the roller lash didn't last at all on my lids

How the heck did you master doing your mascara without getting it all over your lids??? I cannot figure it out. I’ve practiced and practiced. It’s impossible for me to do mascara and not get it all over the place. Seriously I suck. That’s why I wear falsies. It’s easier for me to apply them then do my mascara.

Idk but I do tilt my head pretty far back 😭😭also what helps is keeping most product at the root then going up. But I totally get it 😊

Just like Magdaline I tilt my head upwards when applying to the upper lashes then I dip my head down when applying to the lower lashes. Every now and then (especially when I'm rushing) I will get a few dots here and there but moving my head has made a huge difference with my application...

I like the elf side better👀

yall need to stop calling cheap products a “dupe” for more expensive stuff, they’re not a dupe for anythjng, they’re their own products. this is how makeup should be. It should be fairly priced and good quality. expensive makeup is only expensive because of its brand name, it’s 100% false that they’re better than cheaper brands or have something cheaper brands don’t
