Duong! Building the Great Wall - The greatest stone wall

Duong! Building the Great Wall - The greatest stone wall
----------------------
After completing the construction of the wall at the edge of the pond, to protect livestock from falling into the pond. Currently, I am also building a second solid wall, to protect my farm from outside threats. The wall was built of stones, very sturdy. The wall is high and long, surrounding the entire back of my farm. Like the great wall "Great Wall". Because the wall is so long and high, it will take a lot of time to build. But I will try to finish as quickly as possible... Thank you for watching the video, wish you and your family good health🥰🥰🥰
Have fun watching the video!

    Good afternoon. Big greetings from Russia. As for the cabbage, try in the morning, during the dew, sprinkle the cabbage with ashes. This will scare away pests and will serve as fertilizer for the plant.

    GOOD work on the wall. Can't wait to see it finished :o) Regarding your cabbage worms problem, here are some organic ways to handle them: 1. Companion Planting: Consider planting herbs like mint, thyme, and rosemary near your cabbage. These aromatic plants can deter cabbage worms. 2. Floating Row Covers: Use lightweight fabric covers to shield your cabbage plants. These covers prevent adult moths from laying eggs on the leaves. 3. Hand-Picking: Regularly inspect your cabbage leaves and remove any visible worms by hand. Dispose of them away from your garden. 4. Bacillus Thuringiensis (BT): This natural bacterial insecticide specifically targets cabbage worms. Apply it according to the instructions to control the worm population. 5. Neem Oil Spray: Neem oil acts as a repellent and disrupts the life cycle of cabbage worms. Dilute neem oil with water and spray it on your plants. 6. Diatomaceous Earth: Sprinkle food-grade diatomaceous earth around your cabbage plants. It damages the worms’ exoskeleton, leading to dehydration and death. I think its a Good idea for you try to grow Neem plants and then you can produce your own Neem oil, which is one of the best things around for organic pest control. //m

    Great video like always and awesome work. I don't understand people saying they don't think Duong could build the wall on his own... Respectfully, with hard work, dedication, and time, almost anyone is capable. Yes, it's a lot of work, but that's what the channel is about! So let's cheer him on and hope he gets his lovely wall built strong and sturdy for many years to come! 😊

    I love your videos from the very beginning and the blue silk shirt you had. Molding the land to your idea, making a rice paddy with fish swinning amount the roots. Changing it to a pond with rice paddies floating on the surface. To building the enormous walls of your homemade sand and lime stone cement that circle your current pond. Anyone who questions your work ethic or honesty should go back to the beginning of your videos and see the man that you are. You do not quit and run off to Starbucks for an iced coffee, or waste your time. Be inspired by his hard work and labors. Try to make your life and home better each day. Plan for the future, create your own dreams. Make them come true. Love from Mrs. A from the USA.

    Hi Duong, I had a great idea for your new waterwheel: a water-powered mechanical shredder for organic material, like tubers, leaves, etc. I'm thinking something like two counter-spinning logs, either with wood carved teeth or forged blades where you feed in material from above into a chute and then a basket beneath to collect it. And maybe you can have two sections in that shredder for rough chop and fine chop for tougher material. You would save all the time and effort chopping up animal feed by hand. And as much food as you need for your pigs, fish and everything else, I'm sure it would be worth the effort to build such a contraption, so maybe this sounds like a good idea to you. Have a nice day!

  • @glawenclattuc3127

    @glawenclattuc3127

    I think it would work better with a rotating blade, that you could change depending on what you are chopping. I’m thinking like a modern food processor that has different blades for slicing and grating. It would be much simpler to manufacture.

    Maybe it would be a good idea to cut alot of those trees down that are inside of that wall and dig all their roots up too and level all that out and see if you have enough room there to build a stone shelter for animal food storage and a stone shelter beside it for your sewing stuff or any other things like your tools and fishing gear. Your wall is coming along great. I knew you could do it. I hope you have plenty of foods growing out there to keep your animals and your family all fed all year or other ways to feed them if you run out of your foods you're growing.

    I bet if you made some more buildings you could easily have tourists come by to stay for a while for that extra income. I would 100% pay to 'camp' out in primitive village setting.

    I think you should consider dredging the bottom of your fishpond for soil. Cabbage needs nitrogen to grow to its full potential. Nitrogen helps cabbages have larger leaves, which increases photosynthesis and the size of the cabbage head. A nitrogen deficiency can be detected by observing the leaves. Perhaps return to your floating garden bed idea, but instead of rice, grow cabbage.

    Duong, have you ever considered making a pair of clogs? They are a type of Dutch shoe carved from a block of wood. You carve the inside to fit your feet perfectly so they are very comfortable if made properly, and they would protect your feet better than your sandals.

    Maybe building a bamboo mesh that allows the stem of the crop through and would therefore block the worms from easily eating the crop. Also the pigs may enjoy a mud pit. Hope this helps.

    The worms eating the cabbage are probably “cabbage worms”, the larva of a moth. To be realistic, Duong is going to have to start using some better gardening practices, like actually keeping his garden weed free with daily care, and using some preventative measures to help combat these pests. You can’t just plant these tender, yummy garden plants and forget them, and not have them attract every pest in the area. He is going to have to use some modern day pest prevention applications and be much more pro-active as a gardener / farmer every day, even if he has to do some things off camera, to show him as being successful growing garden vegetables. You have got to keep all the weeds, that are pest cover, hiding places cut down or removed from the garden area. He could also plant specific plants around his garden that repel the pests that want to eat his veggies. Gardening takes more time and effort to properly tend, maintain and nurture the vegetable plants and keep the garden clean and healthy. How are other vegetable gardeners and farmers from his village area successful at preventing pests from eating their vegetables? Duong has learned a tremendous amount of skills while growing up in his village, but why is he lacking in the successful gardening skills the gardeners and farmers use there?

    Duong, please talk to your local gardeners and farmers about what they do to keep pests out of their vegetable crops. Also you need to increase your time and effort of daily care of your garden. These are not jungle plants you are growing in your garden. A garden requires daily attention to tend and maintain plants, and regular weeding and light soil cultivation every 2-4 days, as well as watering to keep the garden healthy. You can also use some species of plants to help keep pests away from vegetable plants, and also attract beneficial insects and pollinators to your garden. Flowers can also help with this, as well as other types of plants like herbs, etc. But the first like of defense is you keeping your garden clean and well tended. Be on the look out daily for pests and manually remove the by hand. Throw them in your pond for your fish or feed them to your chickens.
