Hello, it will noticeably affect your score. Once, I had a student who had a high B1 level in speaking, and we double-checked his speaking level before the test. However, he didn't answer the questions in the speaking part because he got confused with the question. He ended up receiving just an A2 for the production part in the production score on the real Duolingo test.

Hola Alexandra, hay otros simuladores en los que puedes tomar prácticas solo por secciones del examen o del examen completo. DreamyDet es my favorito, aunque otros como el de Teacher Luke también funcionan bien

I keep on getting 130 -145 in my Duolingo practice tests for the past 12 mock tests and the last two practice test 135-145 ?How much can I expect in the real exam as on 19th March 2024. I need 130 score to be eligible and accepted for an university and I am applying to. Please answer this query, I am giving my final exam tommorow or in about 2 days.

Hello, most likely you will pass with a score of 135-140 overall and 125/130 in production, keep in mind this is the standard prediction since I have met people who actually get the highest score on production but it is not common. In case they do not ask for at least 130 per skill but just the overall, I think you will be ok when you take the test ^^

Hello, unfortunately, the only effective way is to learn thousands of words in their context and spelling, however, choosing the right list of words is a great way start. The Duolingo focuses on the list of categorized words by level (A1 to C1/C2) from Cambridge, although this file is not free to download, the list of Oxford 5000 is very similar and is free to download from their website, to see them in context, the website Linguee.c om helps a lot. Also, learning the spelling patterns of the verb forms (conjugations) is very useful, like when you add "ing, s, ed" to the verbs, as well as the spelling patterns of suffixes, irregular plurals and the passive voice. I know it sounds like a lot of information, but I actually have a video called "Domina el examen Duolingo ....) in which I explain them, although it is in Spanish, so you might need to enable subtitles in English in case you check it. Hello, sorry I didn't answer, I was absent from KZread for a month. i guess you have already taken the test by now. Yes, with that score on the simulation is very likely to pass the real one, however the production score could be up to 20 points bellow the low margin of the simulation, meaning that you might get 90 points on that specific skill, however, lets be positive, I really think and hope you can pass it right now with a good production score ^^

Hello, I was absent from KZread for a month. If you mean the second part of filling the blanks the best trick is to learn suffixes and spelling rules. I have a video in explaining this in detail called "Domina el examen Duolingo..." Although it is in Spanish you might enable subtitles, in case you still need to take the exam I hope you find it useful

Hello, most likely you will get 100, however the tests has error maegin, so you could actually get 115 or 90 with the same level of English if you take more than once. If you can afford to take it more than once considering both, time and money, I would take it right away, or if that is not the case I have a video called "Domina el examen Duolingo" that can actually increase your score by 5 points if you follow it correctly, the video is in Spanish but you rnable subtitles in English, however keep in mind that you should only use words or templates that I mention on the video if you already feel comfortable with the vocabulary on then so they don't reduce your fluency or sound unatural. Hello, yes. You can try dictations, they will increase your vocabulary, typing and spelling accuracy and active listening. There are two websites that recommend for this, lingua.c om , this one is for free, and Dreamydet.c om which is focused on DET but it has a low fee. Also, I have a comprehensive video called, domina el examen Duolingo, although it is in Spanish, you can enable subtitbles and take a look. I hope you can improve

Hello ma'am, since there is not much time you can try adding some of these words to your speech or writing: multiple, relevant, gorgeous, moreover; they are versatile, easy to use and will raise your score a little bit, just keep in mind you shouldn't force them, because your don't want to reduce your fluency. Also, you can try making some dictations some hours before the test just to be aware of your common mistakes when typing, you can try some at lingua.c om for free. Additionally, the most important advice is not to reduce your fluency thinking about Complex ideas, concepts and examples, since that will reduce your fluency and they are testing your English only, so you should just speak without overthinking and provide long answers, usually following the pattern of, I agree or disagree, reason and example but this pattern is just a guide, not a requirement. Finally, be sure to have eaten food that has already proven to work well for you in the past, and in case you are a coffee or tea drinker consider having just a cup right before the test. Last but not least, consider asking the university for a Pathway program instead the test, they are usually very expensive but it could be your last resource. Speaking about the expected result, the Test has an error marging of 10 points, that means that you could get 100, 105 or 110 with exactly the same level of English just because of luck. I wish you the best, Let's be positive ^^

Hello, sorry, I been absent from KZread for a month. it is likely that you pass it, but usually the production score is a bit lower than the average on the simulation, so if they requiere at least 100 specifically on production you might wait a bit longer or even take it twice

You were so close, in this case, I would take the test 2 more times, I know that I am saying an expensive and luck-based approach, but there is a good reason for that, Duolingo has an error margin of 10 overall, which means that if your real score is 110 you might also get 105 or 115 just because of luck, and when it comes to each section the error margin is 20 points. meaning that if your real score is 95, you might also get 85 or 105. Nevertheless, I am sharing some valuable info for you to practice and improve your production score: To improve in production It depends on how much time you have.
