thank you for the video man I've only got 3 kc and was having the most trouble at olm because nobody was actually explaining it to me only telling me what and when to do it over voice chat so being able to have it explained like this was awesome!

I wish I did a better job tbh! It's an okay guide if you have a little idea of what's going on. but it's really not that friendly to new people. You can bet I will be updating and releasing more content on this

Amazing guide!!! I just returned to the game after about a 2 year break. I’ve never duo’d chambers before, but this guide was so in depth I think I got this! Honestly, it doesn’t look too hard. Thanks man, this is just the CoX refresher I needed. Also, you got any ToA guides?

I've definitely considered it, think theres a lot to be desired in the current guides people put out around it. Some people assume learners are stupid, and others assume theyre going to first time 500s. Idk why theres no middle ground.

Just returning to the game, had over 600kc. This was the exact video I needed to refresh my memory. Woulda been cool if you touched on duo tekton and vasa, but great video overall. Thanks.

Im actually thinking about doing a separate guide for each of the popular rooms, since jagex is talking about reworking the scouting system. Hopefullly we can choose between popular layouts, or remove scouting altogether. Would make a guide on these rooms relevant again as learners can get more consistent practice on harder/niche rooms.

its in the base prayer plugin on runelite. theres a checkbox to show it below your healthbar

I mean like decent guide, but I think it would be beneficial to show both roles as your duo is skipping (the hardest part) you guys messed up on healing skip and didn't explain it, also if only one player stands on the healing pool olm will heal and it will damage the other player who didn't make it to the pool. Good melee hand guide id say ;p I'll probably get my teammate to watch this as there is no confusion other than standing on melee hand and attacking lol. thanks,

yeah this was one of my first videos, it leaves a lot to be desired. It was mainly set up as a melee hand video, as my gf wanted to learn cox but there's not a lot of books specifically on duo scales that are chill. I think I'm going to re-do a lot of the cox guides coming up soon with the new QoL poll coming to cox

I DO! but it's probably going to be back logged behind the dmm content I have planned, and the most recent CA guide video coming out. I would personally recommend Synqs guide to solo olm for anyone wanting to learn how olm works. However I think its a little bit much at times and that it can be explained in fewer words. It'll take a while for mine to come :c Gf wanted a video strictly on the olm fight though so you can bet your ass I'll be putting one together haha

I have BIS gear same as you do in this vid but never really done COX and my mate is an Iron with crystal & bofa etc wanting to duo for his first purples. Do you think it'd be easier to learn solo COX & running Olm before jumping into carrying duo or just wing it and tank the hits / specials.

@@ryannejmanowski6479 just wing it for sure. Honestly, you dont have to learn to skip specials right away. Work on having one person on melee hand, and one just running head back and forth. just so the olm attacks are attacking you both the same amount, and not just blasting one dude. Once you get a feel for when the specials are coming, then you can work on skipping the specials. It's a really unnecessary optimization. You 100% don't need to skip specials to be getting kc, it jsut makes things more chill

@@ryannejmanowski6479 HELL YEAH! I wish that came out sooner tbh, I finished blorva on the 9th, but between organizing and editing clips and my vacation to LCS finals, it took so long to get out. Missed the hype train lol. For the IDs, I don't know the exact ones, but these are all the IDs I have marked in my better npc highlight tab 11738, 11783, 11782, 11783, 12227, 12225, 12208, 12220, 12222, 12198, 12226

What do you do in head phase? one person stands on each far side? or does one person continue to turn the head

One person sits melee hand crippling it to stop specials. Then switches to mage while crippled. The other person repeatedly turns the head so the damage is shared equally. In higher efficiency raids you could both skip attacks entirely, but that’s beyond a guide like this.

When do you plan to make a new in depth one? Quite fond of the way this was structured and just made a new OS account but 50min guides out there atm are just too much for first timers.

Lol, i mean it's a normal chambers. the hand is going to cripple almost instantly no matter what even without scythe. The hard part would be beyond the contents of this video. So dolo method, syncing portal skips, it's all unnecessary for the target audience here. And the gear in this video shouldn't affect that. But hey, I should totally re-do this in lower gear and I get that.
