I recently finished berserk and now I see Griffith in basically every piece of media and man, if Rhaegar wasn't a Griffith, Egg was.

Dunk absolutely has a temper, and the Cockshaw down the well comes to mind! An interesting perspective on this is if perhaps Bloodraven being in on Dunk's plans rather than Egg's. Maybe that's why Bloodraven has an Elk-riding friend.
I had such I hopes of finally getting a “who knights egg” theory twisting into making his crowning illegitimate as well. Or Maekars horses turn into master surgeons and help when Aegon falls from the wall when they visit, proved useless because dunk landed on top egg a few minutes later.
