Dungeness Crabbing In San Francisco
Спорт
This is my first time targeting dungeness crab outside the goldengate bridge in San Francisco. It was a good learning experience and the kids had fun too. We launched out of Richmond and it took us about an hour to get to the crabbing location. I dropped our nets about 5 miles out in 70' of water. We didn't limit out but we landed a few gauge busters and brought back 13 dungeness crab for dinner.

Thanks!
Yeah your nets are on the light side for 70 feet. Gotta give you credit for pulling them by hand though. If you plan on going more, consider getting a Scotty electric crab puller. Well worth the investment. And try to the north of the GG next time.
I love dungeness crab! Mmmmmm. You need some pots and a winch. Leave them out awhile.
Very nice.

Thank you
Get the promar lobster hoops. Biggest size you can and at least 250 feet of rope. They work much better. Get a crab puller too.
Good job 👍 nice to see y’all having fun together
