The debate will never end. Who has the best football TX, CA, or FL. Private/prep vs public. I think there should be two national champions. One for public and one for private/prep. Depends what private school you’re talking about, the only school I wouldn’t count is IMG. The private schools in California are regular catholic schools and aren’t academy’s at all. Tons of Texas high school programs are funded better than majority of Cali private schools.

The private school and public school excuses are played out, especially when you have a 10 million dollar stadium and fast food chains in your damn school LOL. Majority from OC/LA county but SoCal in general is up for grabs as well. Just the population density of SoCal can restock talent for MD and SJB for many years, it has an abundance of talent and it also help there’s a Polynesians.

@@james-jo5ju Cali public schools are under the same rules as Texas schools. Your private schools are under completely different enrollment guidelines and rules. For example based on CIF guidelines that was changed in 2015. Private schools can offer scholarship for any purpose other than educational. And that’s on top of the fact that their enrollment boundaries is the state line and that’s also in the CIF guidelines.

You can't just put an allstar team out there and expect it to just dominate a good team. There has to be cohesiveness and that's not necessarily there on an Allstar team. This is incorrect. Although Rockledge is a good team, they are not a state powerhouse, let alone a national power. They have about 1500 students and compete in a small classification. Duncanville, however, is a national powerhouse and with about 4500 students compete in the largest state classification. Those stats are directly from the national center for educational statistics.

I’m unsure why every time they post a Texas team, Cali and Florida fans run to the comments. Y’all do understand that unlike the kids from these other states. These kids would rather play with the guys they grew up with from they hoods, instead of teaming up to be the best in the Nation. That is what college is for. Check last year rankings. Texas had 4 public schools ranked in MaxPreps Top 25 compared to Cali who had 0. Cali had 2 private schools ranked at the top but that’s it. When you get to Cali first public school ranked , there’s 5 Texas schools ranked above them. Florida did have a lot of schools which gives the all the respect to Claim the best state last year. @@dashawnhicks5384 exactly. Mater dei sends invites to the best teams in the nation. They just sent some to Florida and Buford, the best team in Georgia but they all declined. Meanwhile Duncanville knows they can’t do damage against those teams so they go after teams they know they can put numbers on.

Real. They’re dodging the real competition. Mater dei actually sent invites to the best in Florida and the best in Georgia and they declined. I highly doubt duncanville even contacted those other teams

If you're Duncanville, why even schedule this opponent? They're not even a top 100 IN FLORIDA. That means there are at least 100 teams in the state of Florida better than them. Should have scheduled Creekside, GA this week. They had no business playing Mater Dei, and Rockledge had no business play DVille. This whole game was a huge waste of everyone's time. Duncanville didn't get tested, and most importantly didn't earn an ounce of Respect nationally. Do better...

The Coach at Duncanville doesn’t shy away from competition. They’ve played MD, IMG, Evangal Christian (La), St Johns (DC). When he was at Dallas Skyline they played St Thomas Aquinas and Ridgeway (TN).

Dvill is not that good ...

@@Zaghzackio At least IMG actually plays real teams though on top of cream puffs. They started this year against Lipscomb TN and Saint Joseph’s NJ. IMG, St Joseph, and Lipscomb would beat the brakes off any Texas team.

Mater dei and st john bosco have only been the dominant teams for a couple years. Before the Bay Area had the teams that were unstoppable.
