Because they help tie together the fact that all major religions come from the same place and people aren't as different as most think. We are kept separated and fighting so the rich can stay rich and everyone else can work to serve the rich. Learning that all religions have been usurped by the corrupt would cause people to wake up and see that they are all masonic minions that are following false gods and idols. That would destroy the slave system that keeps the elite sitting pretty while everyone else struggles to live day to day. That is why governments try their best to destroy and hide ancient truth and knowledge. That is a reason why we are not allowed to access the library beneath the sphinx. Every artifact or text that is found that is of any significance to us in finding out who we really are and where we came from is hidden or destroyed. If we don't know who we are, the media machine can tell us who we should be. The system exists to support the richest bloodlines.

10:55 you have to love Inanna's hypocrisy in condemning Dumuzid for not being faithful to her given how she tried to seduce Gilgamesh earlier. However, the timeline here is wonky as Inanna's journey into the underworld is supposed to take place after her part in the Epic of Gilgamesh, though Gilgamesh confronts Inanna about sending Dumuzid into the underworld when she tries to seduce him even although it didn't "happen" yet. Also, apparently the Inanna/Ishtar and Dumuzid/Tammuz Cult survived in some remote location or locations into the 18th century at least per wikipedia. Crazy to think that their worship almost went uninterrupted into the modern day.

Not only can we draw a parallel with the Greek myth of Perserphone's descent into Hades's abode, signifying the coming of winter, but also with the eventual origin of Father Time. Time god Chronos was conflated with the harvest titan Kronos, hence why Father Time is portrayed as an elderly deity like Chronos, however he is also carrying a scythe similarly to how Kronos carried a sickle. I guess the harvest, and by extension grain reapers, became associated with the passing of the seasons. And this method of though traveled from the Middle East and into Mediterranean Europe.

Also do you know if Egyptian was cross influenced with Mesopotamian? Arabic Paganism? Do you know if there's a book about this? There has to be. You'd think Dravidian religion might develop independently, but I don't think that's realistic really. Chinese even shares elements with European, ancestors worship, and the Tocharians, so contact was possible

Thus is all so wrrrrffooonnngggg. The comments & even the actual video siiigh. Okay let me be brief all of this boils down to two things (i speak as a degreed anthropologist) 1. The Sun originally was represented by a GODDESS Creator during the times originally matriarchal societies ruled the planet Gods represented the Moon (hence the god Sin) 2. The story of Inanna and the underworld represents the shift in two ways A) Love & War are connected to a Goddess figure through several cultures before the final soft reformation into Aphrodite and Venus where even there shes the lover of the god of War but also isn't technically a greek god as she made from the semen of Chronos so technically a Titan hinting at the older references. In original story Inanna as Ishtar as well descend down to underworld seeking more power and authority as women & matriarchal societies were being wiped out. In fact one reason most never hear about Akkad is thats the last era they existed in real strengths beyond the Anazonii who trace as female ancestors to the Berbers of North Africa/South Mediterranean 3) Sickles & Scythes have always equally been used in agriculture 4) Kronos & Chronos are just different spellings for same exact titan God its simply greek v latin and nothing else he was never associated as with agriculture that confusion resulting from holiday of Saturnalia whereas this was associated with Saturn the Roman name for Kronos/Chronos & its heavy eating of various foods 4) The story of Damuzzi had to do with explanation of loss of SUMMER crops and the story of Persephone daughter to Agricultural referenced Demeter explanation of loss of Sunlight Warmth and most plants not evergreens though in WINTER...literal opposite. Persephone returns to Demeter most of year whereas Damuzzi never returns but rather only to "heavenly plane" also opposite one returned one not. Finally the Dravidians are NOT linked to Indo Aryans at all but rather the Dravidians are descended down from Indus Valley Civilization minus the Romani who became forever nomadic. The Indo Aryans were from Iranian region and mostly Red hair/Blond hair Blue eyes/green eyes and would become Pheonician Irish Welsh and a couple others but Not Indian or Dravidian. If you want a book on their beliefs look to the Yamuz or Yamuzi of Iraq/Iran the muslims refer to them as devil worshippers (they are not i assure you) but are the only vestiges left of original indo aryans. Incidently snake goddess worship influenced the implementation of the Nagas into Dravidian & Indus Valley beliefs. Of course we are left missing much parts of these stories thanks to the losses incurred of lands amounted to the sizes of China & Europe combined!! Notably Doggerland.

Considering the nature and qualities of Inanna I bet she was PISSED when she came back from the underworld and Tammuz was sitting on her throne with some slave girls and he didn't even seemed phased by her absence. These Annunaki beings can be so savage, and sometimes have hilarious interactions with each other. They talk about them like they were actual people or beings, and it seems they made the ancient world much more interesting than if they were not involved or there period 😅

How did the curse go? The curse pronounced by Ishtar's sister Erishkegal? I can only recall the last couple of terrifying lines, they went a little something like this... "When the lover of Ishtar comes down before me, may the dead rise and smell the insence, may the dead devour the living." Or something to that effect. Understand that in the story, Erishkegal is the Queen of the Dead, and ruler of the Underworld; as well as Ishtar's sister. I have so often wondered just who was "The Lover of Ishtar"! I do hope I have found my answer!

Ezekiel who left on a fiery chariot of fiery wheels with 4 angels each with a face of a eagle man bull and lion with fire and lightning about them with wheels covered with eyes took him to heaven. Also prayed to God to send fire upon an altar soak in water. Other paganism priest covered their altars with water and could not bring fire to their alter. Bottom line was Jehovah won that task to prove who's superior. The same with Moses God versus Egyptian gods with plagues and departing of the Red Sea that killed pharaohs army that tried to kill Hebrews. God won that battle.

Ah so this is the original case of the archetype of some God dying and rising again as Osiris, Jesus (the shepherd🤪) etc. Makes perfect sense that he has to die (as the sun/Lugh in more northern cultures) and not an earthy Goddess as Persephone, because earth is there all year, but her husband, mostly the sun, in this climate other weather conditions, changes. Love it, tuning in to seasons is essential for us. Never really understood the reason Jesus had to die, maybe this is (beyond just being a copy) much more a story about sympathy, pity and forgiving, some element we find in Ishtars decent to the underworld too.

AMEN thanks for glorifying The Lord our God in your words. I've been watching this guy's mythological Lore content since my sophomore year of college now taking my SAT's and now I'm a senior double majoring in Sociology and Anthropology so TIME FLIES DUDE 😎👊. This has nothing to do with the video but please listen if you want to otherwise leave it alone and ignore it. Hello my name is Justin and I'm a fellow Christian and Apologist but I'm also a college student. I'm not a closed minded Theist as I have nothing against Atheists or unbelievers as I speak to them often to understand their reasons for unbelief but we as Christians are convinced of God's Existence due to many real factors). I'm not trying to convert anyone or convince anyone to become Christians as that's The Holy Spirit's job to help people believe but only explain why I believe in Jesus Christ. There's actually evidence of God's Existence in Christianity. First of all there's proof that Jesus of Nazareth existed in history since the writings of Tacitus, Josephus Flavius, Pliny the younger and other historical documents prove that He was living two thousand years ago that even scholars both religious and Atheists agree with historically speaking but not that He's The Divine Son of God because obviously they don't. I'm going to give you historical and archeological evidence for God's Existence as The Scriptures have prophecies that predate the events recorded in them by several millennia including Matthew, Hosea and Zechariah which prophesy accurately of the people of Israel becoming a nation again after over 1900 years of being scattered around the nations since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. spoken of by Christ in Matthew 23:29-24:3 and returning to their homeland after The Holocaust with Jerusalem as their capital in 1948 exactly as Jesus The Christ said. The prophets including Daniel spoke of the time where several world empires would arise and fall including the Babylonian kingdom, Medes and Persians, Roman Empire, and Saladin and the Muslims which went in consecutive order for the past few millennia. The people of Israel becoming a nation after The Holocaust in 1948 (ironically the melting point of gold as God compares Israel to gold that's tested in fire in Zechariah 13:8 and Jeremiah 16:15) exactly how Jesus The Christ said would happen since God us everything to come in The Scriptures and not just because people were working towards as Atheists claim which are impossible for any regular man to predict. Just before anyone says Christianity is a white man's religion made to oppress blacks during slavery you obviously aren't aware that the first Christians were Jews in The Middle East and that Christianity just like any religion can be used by evil and corrupt people to oppress others but you forget that the first Abolitionists/Civil Rights activists were Christians who sought to abolish slavery, racism, segregation, injustice and prejudice throughout American history. Jesus The Christ loves you enough not to give you what we all deserve which is God's Wrath by His Own Blood. Charles Darwin didn't originally come up with The Theory of Evolution over 200 years ago as it is mentioned in the writings of Ancient Greeks who believed in Demons that gave knowledge to philosophers. Evolution makes no sense when nothing has evolved after thousands of years of human history and supposedly the first creature came from primordial sludge several millions of years ago funny how they won't believe that God an Eternal Almighty Spirit Being created us from the Earth) which came from a supermassive expansion of matter at high temperature that inexplicably created everything in the known universe that supposedly came from nothing billions of years ago. How did the organs evolve before there were bones, skin, substance and how did any creatures see before eyes evolved? I've studied evolution and abiogenesis in the past and read Darwin's " Origin of The Species" I've studied evolution and abiogenesis in the past and read Darwin's " Origin of The Species" and I'm not convinced of but not macro or micro Evolution because there's no evidence of it nor clear observable examples of it where living creatures evolve into other kinds of species plus the fact that fossils don't show evidence of evolution and genetic entropy rules out evolution. The question begs how did two genders evolve from a common ancestor with a perfectly hospitable and sustainable environment with breathable oxygen and resources to survive on inexplicably? Atheists have the burden of proof to explain how everything came to be and why our existence is possible without the Existence of God from an godless perspective just as Christians have to provide evidence of God's Existence and the validity of His Word. Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus. I don't mean this is any condescending manner but if you'd like to discuss The Scriptures with me or have me listen to your view on anything my instagram account is Savage Christian Kombatant.

I take it that the uploader of this video is attempting to prove that a dying resurrecting god is a recycled story. So rather than point out all of the differences in the account of Tammuz to the account of Jesus, I will direct you to another similarity. It also differs greatly. Jesus also had women who wept for Him as He was led to His death. One key difference is that Jesus actually comforted them in Luke 23:28 by saying "do not weep for me, but for yourselves and your children." I don't see Tammuz doing that. Perhaps Ezekiel was onto the fact that the women whom he saw weeping for Tammuz received no answer of comfort.

@Kleine Vuurvlinder wowzer! it like you really put out the landing lights. I am impressed! I’ve alway thought it was a Chinese whisper thing. after many retelling around the camp fire. A memory past down generation after generation with a nugget of truth for the worthy. Hence you have the tale of the holly and oak kings from folk ledgends. But way more than the you have a prophet of the one true god! if all reckon it? that tale starts somewhere in the middle. Because of I am the beginning and the end the alpha and the omega line. That always starts somewhere in the middle in certain lights it’s a builders manual. There are reminders everywhere if you know where to look. The ancients knew they had a problem that they couldn’t easily fix. They hoped that with time someone worthy enough would be born to re-piece it all back together. In many a tale there greif for the loss of knowledge care and understanding. Thousand of generation before us Kew things we didn’t. Knowledge was the salvation. But with each and every counter action. what men knew was eroded. To what we see today. Ineptitude and dementia tearing it was through society. I’m many a myth it referees to a place of mind and state of mind. With in that is the will of god. Before the rapture it said to look for the sign of the fish. In rune that’s orthela. It a peace symbol that goes back millennium. It also show a basic understanding of physic in the most simplistic way. You could say the fight against ignorance started here. The anti christ is he who destroy knowledge. There will be a glorious restoration. what is lost will be returned. Surely as roots grow. Each and every action changes the world. With enough clues what is lost can be returned and restored. Why do you think the line from whom knows secrets are hidden. God didn’t become god because god had it easy. God lost so much along the way. Endured so much. That god gained omnipotence. How can anyone ever reach that level of knowing what it’s like to be like everyone. know what it like be good and bad all the same. With that guilt sought ways to return what was lost. No god didn’t become god be it was perfect. Gods struggle is our struggle. Angels fell due to the temptation for power over other beings. For the want to control other beings. The tales of Loki sum this up. Bound and chained to a rock for all eternity. With no mercy from what preys on them. There a spark of divinity in us all. He who without cast the first stone. Even in a modern context . where we are technologically. it required some who can take raw components and build something to change something. It the effort made to elevate that suffering that is the true work to be done!

@Kleine Vuurvlinder if there’s anything I know is we have not been told the whole story. We live in a time if make believe crazy as that is. Yes there a fragment of truth in the tales but not the whole truth. Think salesman and what salesman do. This is the corruption the perversion and the devil may care attitude. that get a lot of people, into a lot of trouble. Humanity is being exploited there no doubt about that! I’ve been trying to warn people for the last 15 years in my own way. With a message for those who would listen. Dropping whispers here or there. Much like how ripples on the pond travel along way. I’ve had to re-aline my understanding of the universe as it was clear to me I was only peering through a vail. The time has come to throw of the shackles that bind us. Jesus trashed a temple because money was worshipped more than the divine. We also live in a time where death is valued more than life itself. Billions die daily. Yet no one know enough to care. Its industrial levels of death. Mascaraed as life itself. There a sickness in all our minds born out of the mundane. Choice is a cancer that knows no boundaries. It will eat people alive. It reflects in the path people take in life. The action they will inevitable take. Sins that grow like fruit on trees. Till all are blindly walking about in the dark. An eye for an eye leaves both people blind. The same true with conscious! The imperium of man and the divine kingdom is coming! I but the humble messenger. There will be upheaval. The sickness that infects people mind will become a thing of the past. When humanity realises it can’t breed blindly. As it threatens the future generations with sickness and poor health. The curse of kings flood every nation. It can be looked into. The separation between decedent has become muddled and blurred. Everyone of European decent is effected and few even know the truth. The same mechanism is working globally. It’s a storm in a teacup! When genetic diversity collapses the kingdoms of man will collapse as well. When 2% of individuals form 98% of the gene pool you have a problem. One the lord almighty wishes to fix. No humans, no heaven, no gods. It foretold that men will rise to godlessness in the coming ages. The rapture may refer to the taint the runs through all of us. It may even know that there’s only 144 individuals who founded billions of souls. The lords work will be a long and winding road. to fix the damage done to his people. The children of god will rise up can claim this world as their own. If the truth be known all who have committed the most heinous crimes. could be forgiven as they didn’t know that it was part of them. Jesus promises all sins will be forgiven to those who repent. More to those who understand who and what they are! They must have been aware of this back in the temple days. That they had to warn us all! Hubris still exist and with that hubris destruction is never that far away.

@Kleine Vuurvlinder I appreciate your ideas on this. I personally believe that certain mythological beings were real & possibly did exist. When researching extensively into it all, parallels & congruencies emerged. Ya mentioned sky gods. Ones like Odin & Thor from Norse mythology & Zeus from the Greek pantheon, & several others have led me to theorize. And I propose that these individuals probably did exist & that God Almighty was trying to prepare the collectively infantile mindsets of us humans for accepting the very notion of one true & Living God of the universe. And that He could provide what these gods could not, and that is redemption through the Christ God! Mythology is pre-history, & not necessarily untrue! Something tells me that there's more of a relationship between things & people than we may yet know. Peace out😎🌍
