In a nutshell, I ‘m an avid dumpster diver, scrapper, picker, treasure hunter and underwater connoisseur. I prowl the city streets in search of dumpster loot, curbside treasures & scrap metal as well as scour the river bottoms for lost valuables during the summer months when I can scrounge up enough money for gas. Be sure to stay subscribed to stay up to date with my latest expeditions, y'all!

As a scavenger myself, I shake my head whenever I see so much brand new stuff headed for a landfill. We are the most wasteful country on the planet. ☹️
I worked for a fortune 100 company and when ever a company dignitary would grace the facility the managers would throw tons of brand new items into the landfill. Pallets of pop rivets, steel beams, steel/ stainless sheets of all thickness, office supplies etc. After the tour they would simply re-order and Pat themselves on the back when managers were told how neat and tidy the place was. Wasteful and ridiculous
I am severely physically disabled and recycle equipment for the people who need it free! I have been doing it for a long time so if you need to know anything please let me know if I can help, be safe!
All businesses should let people dumpster dive. They throw away a lot of useful stuff.
I found my ex-wife in a dumpster. She was like ,"Dive in!!!' I was like, "In what?!! We got married the next day.
So, these videos are rather interesting. Do you get permission first or just take your chances? Do you get chased off or threatened much? As a former garbage collector, it always amazes me to see the great stuff people toss. We need a better system for re-use, and keeping good stuff and materials out of the landfills.
Hey Mike those are contact relays for HVAC. Check the price before you scrap em. They sell for $7 to $20 each retail.
It would be just heavenly to donate wheelchairs to retirement homes for those who struggling to make ends meet.
We all know already this is going to be a great video, because there's never a bad video from Mike.
I was a commercial front load garbage truck driver for over 20 years and used to find all kinds of good stuff, there was times where I would set stuff out that wouldn't fit in the truck and go back after work and pick it up. My favorite saying was free is for me.. LOL
I love that you give the wheelchairs away. My dad was in one for years. Medical supplies are so expensive. You’re a good egg!
Man that vac hose is a score. I’m a woodworker and those things come in handy when running plumbing for dust extractors. Nice find
Hats off for this guy stopping this stuff from getting to the land fill!!!
and honestly, thank you for getting stuff out of the trash and recycling it! we need more people like you. Yes I get it, it pays your bills, but it is also helping our landfills not fill up.
I love how the comments offer helpful information on the items. Keep them coming!
hello from Ukraine, Mike more good finds for you
Hi Mike, I'm from Russia, I'm 49 years old and I also like to dig into containers not for profit, but for the sake of finding artifacts and non-ferrous
Those little plastic clamps for the metal shelving was actually a good find. I usually end up having to buy more of those when I find the shelving. Good thing it wasn't raining when you got the soap all over you - just imagine how clean you'd have been 🤣🤣
I just recently found his channel and I LOVE IT. I get such a kick out of watching him hop in and out of these bins finding treasures. It's a lot of hard work, but he almost makes it look easy. And his accent... "whoo, y'all" . Great!!
thank you for saving the chair for somebody in need
