Do you think you'd actually get 5 bucks in scrap value for that shelf? The prices where I live aren't that good, $5 seems totally worth it

I constantly have to organize my own trash. My husband apparently doesn't care about the planet and thinks everything goes in the trash. Some people are untrainable. 😥

That glass carafe for the coffee maker is the important part. Once it breaks most people throw away the machine. You got it intact for the yard sale.

The enameled cookware is valuable even incomplete sets,can be sold as parts. The older the piece, the greater the value. They come in 3 colors with white spots. Red, green, and blue. That also is the order of rarity.

Mike you might want to buy a Battery powered grinder and some cutting wheels. That way when you find you can use it to cut the metal so you can get it out easier.

"Hode up" I filled in the blank when you were talking about that one dumpster. I said puked and then you said it vomited. Lettuce know if that nailer works. I even love it when you empty the dumpster and fill it up again. Was hoping you wouldn't impale yourself on that metal shelf. Keep on punchin the dumpsta 😉😂😘👍🎄

Considering the high prices of lumber, you abandoned a small fortune of timber. I sure hope that your maintain a measure of safety; steel shank and toes on your boots to protect feet and ankles. If you know how much a single bay of that shelving costs, even used, you'd know that he had the find of the night right there. Look up gorilla shelves, and I think those were the 8 foot tall corner posts... so around $150... What is truly priceless is that he can find these things day after day....I think I've seen him pull out at least two dozen pool pumps. He has a good route. That only comes with time spent doing something. I'd say that with his standards (not taking what isn't in the dumpsters, leaving the area cleaner than when he came, no metal studs, etc), proficiency, and experience, he's a true (bonafide) professional dumpster diver.

That Caliper measuring case at 2:09 you could save because a lot of people out there that need a case for the Caliper.

Jeez Mike. I think you forget sometimes that you have a pocket knife when you start wrestling those big cardboard boxes 😂. Really enjoy your industrious nature!

Straighten out the box. Unravel a cpl inches. Attach the wire to vice or screw on a table or whatever. Squeeze it together and pull tight a few times and wire comes right out. Even pcs up to and more the ten ft. Find your rythm and blow right through it. Works for aluminum or steel.

They also waste whole tons - which is why this is both illegal yet tolerated - and have a market medical system that will gladly charge you an arm and a leg, if you stub your toe too hard.
