I think, as early as 30:09, he knew he was missing that box, which he saw earlier. Probably got buried in all that trash that he forgot where it is.

Mikes videos are so good I’m watching a throwback from a year ago for the second time. Lol.

Pink bubble wrap is used mainly for IT equipment its supposed to be anti static

@@lanna7917 He seems to be getting over his cold. You know, the common cold, I think it is still around. It is often brought on by allergies (cause it is Spring) and post nasal drip. So treat the drip before your throat is too sore. Anyways, he is getting moving again. This is his gym!

Awesome video as usual. Just had a quick question. Wondered why the huge open top with all the scrap was "not for you"???

Just a little heads up, that fryer you can sell for around $800.00 bucks online. I worked for an auction junkie and he sold a lot of fryers. I use to have to pressure wash them with a hot water powerwasher. I used to use simple green and let it sit for a bit then hit with the washer.

I never pass up a free bag less vac, 9 times out of ten you just need to clean the filter and unclog them. $20-$30 each $50 for Bissel with all the attachments.

Be careful with those fluorescent bulbs. That white powder at the bottom of some of the dumpsters has mercury in it.

I am watching your older videos. I see that you have developed a better eye for what is good scrap and what is junk. You pick through a lot of little stuff in this video that nowadays, you would probably pass up. Keep on scrapping Mike!

FYI that push plate is definitely copper. Copper is used for a lot of commercial door and window hardware because it has a natural anti-microbial properties. Source - I have installed thousands of pieces of hardware in schools, Federal buildings, and hospital's.

Mike, you know the hoses, dirt bins, etc on vacuums can sell for decent amounts on ebay, local apps, etc. some parts sell for $10-$15 but other pcs sell for $40-$100, depending on the brand and model

18:48 You know poor Mike isn't feeling too hot when he finds a whole full spool of #2 wire and all he says is "What's this? A whole box, looks like #2, just sittin' in front of the dumpster'' then tosses it into the truck and moves on. This videos old and I'm all caught up on new ones so, I know he recovered but, it's still a bummer to see. I'm sick right now myself so, I can relate!

35:32 Looks more brass to me, might be the camera, but i say brass. Copper is a pure metal, while brass is copper mixed with zinc, so i guess how easy it is to recognise depends on how much zink they pured and mixed in there. But yeah, it should be considered brass if you cant clearly tell it is copper. Both copper an brass gets more dark/red with a oxide layer when getting older. Copper (pure), brass (copper & zink) and bronze (copper & tin) is considered red metals. Look at the moon with the telescope, it is fun, you see the craters and things clearly :)

Love the videos and I highly doubt you'll see this but try wells Lamont hydra Hyde gloves. A little more expensive than the Mechanix gloves but I run a tow truck and they rock. Might last a little longer for ya. Just a suggestion.
