hello Steph and Steve, For those comforters that you see with the red spray paint. What we do with damaged comforters is use two flat sheets to make a cover. these work good for beach days, picnics and camping.

Good score, Steph...love what you do to repurpose candles ..candles are so expensive and they work so well for bathrooms if they have a strong smell. Nothing gets in your way of repurposing stuff. Love how you really try so that you save money and help your family...terrific, loves...aw "hec"... that was funny, go team.

The blankets that have paint Put a duvay on it. Put it in a quilt. I make quilts for the needy. So they can feel like they matter. Instead of wore out blankets.. enjoy watching you..

Hi Steven Steph, I enjoy watching your videos very much. The way y'all get along together and saving things from the landfill is very awesome. I do have a suggestion. When you find the comforters and sheets and such with paint on them. What about cutting out that painted section and sewing in a new section from say a scrap comforter. All you need is the cap to cover filter and the part that attaches to it is metal. Like a tube it snaps in top & bottom. I just got one like it. I love it has great suction. The back part that you said something may go to. Thats the way it is. That part leans against the wall when not in us. Unless you hang it. Hope you find the part you need. One end of the tube looks like it has a plug on the end. When connect to the bottom it power the rotating brush. Good luck!

I use finger nail polish remover The regular not the acetone to get paint out of my clothes and I've never ruined one yet so you might wanna try that

Someone said rubbing alcohol would take paint off of clothe. I haven’t tried it but it might be worth a try. But if it’s just for Pumba does it matter if it has some paint stain on it as long as the paint smell isn’t there? We had an elderly dog that we went through Incontinence issues for years. Her mattress was wrapped in plastic and duct taped. Then I took comforters and made covers out of them and did laundry everyday. She was our heart. I love that you at least try to repair everything or try to find a use for it. Stay safe and God Bless

Steph try using zote soap. The bar form. It gets that red paint out. But you have to use it before you use anything else. Just moisten the cloth. And rub the soap on and repeat till gone. It works wonders

I have that Shark vacuum - the back where you thought something was missing, it’s for a wall mount for storage. And mine came with a lot of accessories like small hoses and attachable small brushes for nooks and crannies like car cleaning, it’s in a black bag. Also other attachments for the wand that’s missing like an upholstery brush. I hope you find some of them.

Spray paint remover, 91% isopropyl alcohol. Keep applying with spray bottle, scrub a little, apply more, wipe, repeat. It has to be 91%, sells at dollar general. I've recently got BLACK spray paint out of WHITE goose down jacket from retail dumpster. Whole back was sprayed to destroy, wear it all of the time, looks brand new. Oh wait it is!! they just threw it out, I saved it.

Lol that’s Steph’s family whistle she grew up with-from the Three Amigos when Steve Martin is on the roof trying to get the Chevy and Martin Short’s attention 😆

Every time I see all the broken crockery and coloured glass I think about how many mosaics I could make. Also how many sculptures I could make with the cardboard boxes.

For the spray paint on the blanket try spraying White vinegar and water, rub in, then cover with a wet wash cloth and put a hot iron on it for a few and scrub off, Idk if it would work but it does for stains on carpet! Worth a shot 🤷‍♀️

One of my Facebook friends has one attached to his motor cycle helmet. Blancolirio is his channel name. He can tell you how he did it, then you can fashion something similar but cooler!

You can also cut up some of the candles for wax melts

Love wax melts

I tried this to remove paint from a toaster oven. Warm some white vinegar, wet the rag in it, and let it sit on the paint for 5-10 minutes. The paint wiped off. And I tried other things that did not work. The teensy bit of paint near the handle and knobs a little krud cutter and a tooth brush, it looks brand new!!

Regarding the red spray paint: on another DD site, she uses hand sanitizer to remove the paint off of hard surfaces. Put some on a cleaning cloth, and rub. It comes right off! Try pre-treating fabric with it before washing

This past Christmas I had a hard time finding pillar candles, looking mostly on FB marketplace. What a find!!

You can also chop up the candles and use them for candle melts

I wonder if CLR cleaner might work on the paint

I have seen another diver use Zote soap on a rug sprayed with red paint. Haven’t tried it myself yet though.

That stinks you didn't get the massage gun my husband got me that exact one for Christmas and it's amazing.

I found a shark vacuum only missing cut cord if you find a thick black cut cord please let me know!! I got mine from the same dumpster.

hi hi i see that you find a lot of candles, i give you a tip, if you remove the glass lamp shades from the fans (there are a lot of them and very beautiful ones too) you turn these upside down and close with a lid. Turn it over and then put a candle in it. you have at least 5 of the same. the glass is fireproof. so have fun making them. greetings bernard

Hi guys. I watch another dumpster diver as well and she uses GEL HAND SANITISER to remove paint from solid surfaces. She puts some on the paint, waits a few seconds and wipes it off with a cloth. This might work for you. Happy New Year from Australia 😘
