You are all correct. For some unknown reason the powers that were in place before Waste Connections took over bought six of these Autocar/Odyssey trucks with no top doors. When we asked why we were told we didn't really need top doors. Waste Connections fired those people as soon as they took over but now we are stuck with these shitboxes.

Eric Schreier i would be furious i am trying to go to front load and our front load fleet is mostliy witkkes and mcneilus i prefrer mcneilus the supior front load

Eric Schreier Well we have 50-70 of those with no top door but we mainly use them for residential. The carry can or Curotto Can covers the hopper is transit. They only use these Odyssey Residential Front Loaders when they are hard up for Commercial Front Loaders.

Nice,I took on 8.5 tons that's 17,000 + lbs and my truck was fricking sluggish,started turning like shit & the hopper was swaying.

looked about a 10 ton load...lots of wet restaurant bags!

why's there no top door?

What would happen if you was driving in a wins storm with no top door the trash would be flying all over the road

my 1st load today was 18 ton, 2nd was only 2.

They want us to shy away from those superloads. They told us to keep our loads around 11 tons but mine are usually around 13 tons. Works out ok like that.

I get around 13 with a lot of bulk trash, but when I pick up a lot of restaurants or it rains I'm around 16-17.

Didn't look that big to me. My first load on a Monday is usually 18 to 20 tons. That's 80,000 lbs
