It's fascinating to both watch and hear the gravel come out of the dump truck to the ground so smoothly.... it is a guilty pleasure!

I've been spreading gravel on county roads for my local highway department for 10 yrs now. It always me excited when I spread 5 loads of gravel a day. It's like mowing with a zero turn mower and seeing them stripes when you're finished. Instant gratification

Another excellent video Neal. I see you and Sam over at Tri Star Diggin running these smaller trucks. I like the appeal of them, smaller than a tri axel, easier to get into smaller places, cost is cheaper.....I, like most of us, always want to go as big as I can afford. Todd at Diggninlife21 told me to be competitive I'd probably want a larger truck than one the size you have. Do you find yourself wanting a larger truck at times? If so, what would you upgrade to?

Thanks for the comment Duane! I love the single axle cause it's easy to drive, easy to back, easy to haul a trailer, etc. But yes sometimes it has its limits with hauling. I work alone so anytime I need lots of stone I usually just call the rock yard and have them deliver to me with a couple trucks. The single axle truck is good for residential deliveries. Most people don't need 23 tons.

I have a truck looks just like yours except for color. How much weight can you carry? I figured 10 ton on mine but haven’t weighted it yet. Not on the road yet. Thanks for the videos.

Awesome. I usually ask for 10 tons and feel completely comfortable with that weight. I've carried around 12 though when the loaderman got a little wild.

Haha there's not a big selection of wipers that fit an 89. It's kind of an odd setup with a small shaft and cotter pin. But yea I think they were $7 each at Napa
