They won't mention it again. When ESPN runs a documentary or a network special several months from now on "Racism in Sports", they will show clips of the Duke player serving the ball, implying that she was a victim of racism. ESPN did something similar with Bubba Watson, who like this volleyball player, was not a victim of racism, but they still ran the narrative.

I think you may have a comprehension problem. This report didn't say anything about her teammates not hearing anything. You can barely hear the players speak in video recordings due to the distance the cameras are from the floor so why would there be video proof of one person yelling at a player? The corroboration was from the fact that this "Fan" was later band from attending BYU volleyball matches.

The fan who was banned by BYU does not appear to have yelled slurs at volleyball match, campus police say. Brigham Young University is still investigating possible racist slurs yelled at a Duke volleyball player last week - in part because campus police say it doesn’t appear the man who was eventually banned shouted any racial slurs. The allegation was initially made by Richardson’s godmother, Lesa Pamplin, who said her goddaughter was called the n-word “every time she served.” A police officer had to be placed by Duke’s bench, she said. Pamplin also said that later, on the way back to the team bus, Richardson was threatened by a “white male” who told her to “watch her back.” *Pamplin is currently a Democrat party candidate for Tarrant County's Circuit Court Judge's Number 5 position in Fort Worth, Texas*. However, the video of the entire game posted on KZread does not appear show anyone yelling slurs at any point, and so far, no cell phone footage of the incident has surfaced either. The video also does not appear to show an officer nearby Duke's bench. It takes little more than looking at her social media to understand the hateful mentality of this person. Lesa Pamplin is a person who creates divisive lies in order to manipulate the black community into supporting her. This has been a strategy of the left for longer than I have been alive.

I watched the entire match and saw nothing of what Rachel Richards said.

I really hope all these networks apologize for jumping on this bs bandwagon. I highly doubt it though. So happy the truth is coming out. All this does is make this harder for the real victims. I hope they interview her and asked her why she lied while sending her to jail.

There have been so many cases of false accusations or accusers actually staging a lie. Does this imply the actual racists are the accusers? Shouldn't there be consequences for something so damaging?

Just a lesson in not jumping to conclusions before all the facts come out. I don't know if she made this up or if she was mistaken or what on earth she thinks she was experiencing, but it does look like things didn't happen as she said they did. Heckled throughout the match to the point that she felt unsafe? No way the match would have finished without someone getting thrown out. And no way BYU basketball players, many of whom are African-American, would have been cool with racial slurs coming from their section. Something is rotten in Denmark for sure. I just feel bad for the fan who was falsely accused and then BYU for getting all this bad press for an incident that appears to have not happened. The AD gives his students a dressing down for racist behavior that didn't happen. So unfortunate and a really bad look for Rachel Richardson, unfortunately. The worst part about this is that this undermines real incidents of racism that happen all across this country. The next time an athlete actually does experience racism at an event, people will then wonder whether or not they're just another Rachel Richardson. So sad.

@@jamesblunt1915 BYU police reviewed footage of the fan who was banned and determined that he did not yell any slurs when Richardson was serving. The fan wasn’t even present when Richardson was serving the first time, and he was on his phone during Richardson’s second serve. Those were the only two times she served in front of the BYU student section.

Oh, his family certainly will. He’s apparently mentally handicapped, and is one of those “super fans” who absolutely lives, breaths and sleeps going to BYU games as his hobby, and would’ve likely been traumatized and confused on being ejected for ZERO reason, other than being white? He’s literally their #1 fan, and has attended ALL their games for years now, and as a reward, he got completely thrown under the bus because of this lying pos racist and her godmother, who apparently concocted the whole story? Shame on BYU also, for not even investigating the matter thoroughly first, before jumping the gun and escorting this poor man out of the gym? I could only imagine how deeply upsetting it would’ve been for someone like that? They’re all toast!

BYU associate athletic director Jon McBride added that several athletics employees have been combing through all the footage the team has access to and have not found evidence of racial slurs being shouted. "Various BYU Athletics employees have been reviewing video from BYUtv and other cameras in the facility that the volleyball team has access to for film review. This has been ongoing since right after the match on Friday night," McBride said in a statement. "The person who was banned was the person identified by Duke as using racial slurs. However, we have been unable to find any evidence of that person using slurs in the match."

This is what happens when the mainstream media and woke ESPN runs with a story just because it fits their agenda. They did no investigation only use the players account and her god mother’s account (who wasn’t even at the game ). The student newspaper at BYU did a much better job of investigative journalism than any quack at the mainstream media outlets. They interviewed people who attended the game. They interviewed the workers who were at the game. They reviewed the game footage with audio. They implored anyone with cell phone recording of the game to come forward if there was anything on it to prove the accusation. All this led to no evidence being found. They also did some research of the players god mother and discovered she has ambitions to be a politician and her social media is full of anti-white content. Hmm maybe she was using her god child as a means to get attention for her own political intentions. But of course ESPN and the mainstream media will not issue any apologies .. they will do what they always do and just ignore it. It’s never about revealing facts with them… it’s about putting out their propaganda to keep us all divided.

We need this sh*t to stop immediately!! This anger and outrage they have needs to be the same if it’s the other way around. She lied for attention and the punishment needs to be severe for this. Lying about racism is very disruptive to society and can be harmful against innocent people who have done nothing wrong. Take away her scholarship and ban her from ever playing college sports again. I also want to hear an apology from the black community stating they don’t condone this kind of behavior.

Can we hear even a single cell phone recording of this incident? With the proliferation of smart phones and other recording devices, if this behavior occurred throughout the match as she claims, certainly someone recorded some of it.

Not to take you on a journey to far from the topic but the left media has convinced the sheep in this country that conservative = racist & it's just not reality & with all of the people participating & in attendance there absolutely were decent human beings (both liberals & conservatives) who would not just quietly while this was going on. @@Bklyn2SoCal agree to disagree. I’ve witnessed an incident of racism where no one said anything; it happened to my friends daughter. Everyone just stood by till I said something. I’m also friends with former missionaries who probably would’ve been one of those people who just stand by ( if he never served a mission in NYC) because they don’t encounter racism so they don’t know how to react to it or even recognize a blatant act of racism. Utah is extremely homogeneous capsule. I’ve met people who’ve never met a black person until like 10 years ago. Racism and micro aggressions happens every day, even in a so called melting pot of NY; don’t dismiss it cause no one recorded it or heard it. I found out that some of the people I’ve worked with were low key racist when trump won, they were emboldened to spew their views without repercussions cause Trump and his supporters could.
