@@shallex5744 Yeah that's definitely one of them, or the PS1 version, or the Megaton version (which I've been told used this version originally but shamefully changed it in a patch). But of course, this is the only one anyone has to know.

The Megadeth version is good, but you just can't beat this. Also the midi gives it a great feel.

Alright, I'mma share the story about how I found about this version of the song back in the day. I was a kid, and in my family's computer we had two games: DK3D and Age of Empires 2. One day I decided to play Age of Empires, but I didn't realize the DK3D disk was on. I hopped onto the last William Wallace-themed tutorial mission for the game... ... And for some reason, the game would play this version of the song on loop instead of its own soundtrack. And it was GLORIOUS. Now, one thing to consider that I later realized: The version of Age of Empires 2 we had was Cracked. I'm assuming that may have had something to do with this phenomenon. I didn't think about doing any research or testing about this back in the day, and by the time I bothered to check I no longer had either disks or a proper machine to try.

This version is a classic, but Daniel Tidwells version takes it to another level

I can't believe how much trouble I had finding this proper version of the Atomic Edition Plutonium pack version of Grabbag. Most things on KZread are either someone's pet cover of it or it is this one but it cuts off before the gutar solo part, or it's just the much lower bit crappier original version (no offense to the OG 8 bit grabbag) kudos 🤘💪🤜

It's a fine cover, but the original I prefer. It's a faster paced action piece that drives all the way from beginning to end, the Megadeth theme is quite slow paced by comparison, and it also is a little bit overhyped and over-rated. To the point that many people forget that the theme song was not created by them, and that their version came out nearly four years after the game itself.

It's the Atomic Edition/Plutonium Pack version when they added the extra fourth episode DLC to it on PC. I had the actual CD. Not calling you a liar tho, maybe the Saturn version used the later Atomic/Plutonium PC edition 🤷‍♂️ But it's definitely not native OG from the Sega Saturn. This was DLC and they upped the bit quality and remastered grabbag. A good example is how Street Fighter Anniversary Collection on PS2/Xbox had the CPS-3 versions. You can't really find those anywhere else. Ultra SF2 on Switch comes close I suppose, but it's absolutely not the actual CPS-3's. -Likewise with this you only really find this one from Atomic Edition/Plutonium Pack. It's different from the OG version and it's different from the later Duke material - World Tour/Forever/TTK/Zero Hour etc

Saturn used this version. Can't say whether it was used elsewhere or not, but I LOVED Saturn's soundtrack for this game. I remember always loving the solo in the middle of this version.

We all know were we came from.

I prefer this version over the megadeath one. the megadeath guitar solo just isn't as appealing to me...

I find the opposite. Megadeths version is heavier and fits better imo. This version sounds too synthesized. Prefer the heavy metal sound of Megadeth. Each to their own though.

Lee Jackson Grabbag Theme - This was the second FPS game I've ever played. The first being DooM. I was somewhat late to the party not owning a computer until late 1997. This was like DooM turned up to 11 as they say. After being blown away by that game by ID Software. This game made DooM look tame by comparison. It's sorta the brutal DooM version of DooM well before the days of source ports. The awesome roided-up bad ass who is essentially a mix of all our favorite 80s action heroes, was the game that got me into level design and photoshop later on. Duke Nukem was the reason I opted out of buying an underground swimming pool so I could afford a decent computer at the time. Playing this game via a lan connection over a friends house. To borrow a quote from AVGN - "I couldn't wait to have my balls blown off by awesomeness once again." Just like James with "Castlevania V" The non successor to Castlevania IV one of my favorite games too btw. DNF wasn't too be I thought back in 2004 as the years rolled on. By 2011 when It finally came out. I was actually expecting the game to not be quite up to par, but I was still in for quite a shock.

Part2 - I was in for quite a shock, and btw. I'm not here to shit all over DNF. I actually wish it was never made. Like Civvie11 said. "Sometimes Dead is better" Just like in Pet Cemetery. I just wish that fans of the game. Not people in general as I don't give a fuck what most people think, but the only reason I even bring up DNF is to hopefully remind people that This mother fucker here is the same awesome Bad Ass from 1996. He's not this "relic from the past" that people like to point out as they stand on their goddamn soap box. DNF was just a huge mockery of the character. It's like what they did to Arnold in T3 "talk to the hand" but he was still awesome in that otherwise kinda shitty sequel that shouldn't have been made, and especially from Dark Fate. The "Carl" character when they basically cut off his balls. The Terminator Franchise. As far as I'm concerned There are only two movies - The first two which are directed by the same person. The Legendary James Cameron. So just like James Cameron Directed the first two block buster hits. In the same way Duke deserves the same treatment and respect, and just like what happened in T2 it's as if Randy reprogrammed Duke, that or created a clone of Duke which is more fitting to the plot of what should have been in the main game anyway. Fuck DLCs. Sorry for the long ass story. If you read it. Even if you didn't bother reading the whole thing and thought I rambled too damn much and I'll give you that. I just hope you agree that Duke still kicks ass.
