Why is your Cabin being built on a Slope, rather then on Flat Level Ground??

It is possibly built on the slope to prevent possible flooding. The rainfall is likely to run off the hill and soak the flat area making the ground softer. He is elevating his building above where he may have issues. Just my thoughts, hope it helps.

As long as he builds the foundation level doesn’t really matter if the ground is sloped or flat!
