Duff is possibly the most honest and heartfelt artist out there today. His albums just speak to me like an old friend being there for me at a time of need.

Duff’s autobiography is excellent.

I read his book "It's So Easy and Other Lies". Considering the amount of hard drugs, pills and alcohol Duff has put in his body over the years, its good to see him looking so fit (at 60 years old now) and living a clean, happy and healthy life with his beautiful wife and family. He's one of my favorite bass players from one of my favorite bands. And he appears to genuinely be a good guy. Keep rocking, Duff.

Seems like it’s been forever since I’ve heard just a good ol’ fashioned rock song….with warm guitars, good singing and lyrics. I’m looking forward to hearing more from Duff!

Duff is a big history buff. It seems to me about the conquest of America and the resistance of the Longfeather character. But he has said it is inspired by his Native American sensei and a line he said to Duff when Duff was starting his Martial Arts - "Today's not a bad day to die".

It's about his Sensai who taught Duff martial arts from his sober period onwards till his Sensei's death..A Native American sensei.. called Longfeather. Read Duffs auto-biography! It all makes sense then :)

Ran into him around the release of the GNR Lies album when I was about 12yo. The only thing I remember was how tall he was. I was about 4'7" and he was about 12 feet tall.
