I really love this one! It is marvelously themed, with wizards, demons, creatures of myth and legend! It is marvelous to see a "haunted" attraction that does not just depend on blood and gore.

True, it's definitely more creative than most horror walkthroughs. Kinda reminds me of the horror walkthrough attractions at Hong Kong Disneyland every Halloween season.

I like that they allow you to choose between the Fire and Ice paths, just like you can choose either the Fire or Ice Dragons on the old, original rollercoaster in Islands Of Adventure.

This is my favorite HHN house ever. As a longtime fan of Dueling Dragons, this makes me so happy. The attention to detail and theming, the story behind it all. This house is a wonderful tribute to the original Dueling Dragons ride, and I’m so glad that Universal did this. I’m going to miss it when HHN is over.

This makes me miss DD so much. But makes me happy seeing how much was kept and reused.

WOW.. I was a Dragon peasant for a few years back in the mid 2000s and to see the Enchanted Oak and the pretty accurate recreation of the queue... amazing. They did Dragons justice with this one.

Love the POV's with high iso and wide angle lens! This house has such impressive sets. I'm surprised they didn't make puppet Dragon heads to pop out of the walls or ceilings. Still a cool house.

Or even small animatronic dragons! Like animatronic dragons heads that can do small things like nod, move the head side to side, blink, open and close the mouth or even move a couple of talons on the dragons. Would have added so much more drama

This was the best one. So creative, amazing visuals and the only house where ALL the actors were so committed and lively.

ive seen 5 walkthroughs of this house and have yet to see someone take the fire path. im wondering if its because ones better than the other or just pure coincidence

I think it’s just psychologically hard to choose fire when it’s 98 degrees outside with 120% humidity. 🥵

My girlfriend who hates horror did this one with me and loved it! If you're a chicken going to HHN, try this one out!

I hope one day they can bring back something similar to Krampus. That is my top favorite of all the mazes I experienced at HHN (LA). I would love to go to Orlando one day.

@@cobblestonegenerator2183 you can actually see both dragons going in! in the video the ice dragon gets covered by the fog machine but it’s on the opposite side of the fire dragon

@@ostentatiaoclock ah okay. Well the fire dragon shows up directly in your sight line, so the ice dragon would require you to turn around... People still did not see it just like this video doesn't turn around to look.

What I love about this is that the aesthetic and theme feels very retro (both reminds me of retro HHN/Universal because of the ride and just of the fact that "wizards and dragons" fantasy was a common trope a few decades ago), but it uses modern technology to its advantage, like the light-up costume for the fire wizard.

Fire, and Ice themes. Nice! 👍🏽

Bruh this was my first hhn and my parents did start me on this one, we started with the holiday one. This would've been a way better way to ease me into the event.

If they can do a maze based on Dueling Dragons of all things, I’m convinced they can pull off a Harry Potter and Mortal Kombat maze just fine if given the opportunity!

Now is this an homage to duelling dragons or just a coincidence.

No they just used the same ice and fire theme and same name and similar logo and said chose thy fate its so crazy how it was all coincidental and how theme parks do not use nostalgia in the slighest extent for any purposes

Imagine if they added the ride back but they made it similiar to the house(As a dark ride roller coaster with the dueling aspect still).

It’s a separated ticketed event. It’s at the studios during select nights. It is set up in the park itself.

​@@810Metalworkssome houses are set up in soundstages, some in attraction queues and some in what are called 'sprung tents' behind MIB and Simpsons. Scare zones occur throughout different areas in the park. Notably New York, Hollywood, Central Park and the Simpsons midway area

Good footage but I don’t like how you edit parts out because sometimes I just want to observe the atmosphere even if there’s no jump scares. Also we don’t know the ending if Merlin won or lost in your video! Thanks though

Too many visitors at the same time make it not scary

Again, superb theming but dreadful scares. I get that people are constantly walking through but they're too frequent. It was every few seconds in some cases. There's no jump scare elements at all because you can see and hear everything coming. It really cheapens the experience.

Hey!! Dragons scareactor here. When cameras come through the house for promo like this they often walk much slower and more spaced out than regular guests. If I remember correctly this videographer was in a group of about 10 other individuals with cameras all walking slowly and deliberately filming as many angles as possible. We are hitting our scares much more frequently than normal operations because we want every camera to get the chance to document every scare. What this means is that, for example, this camera was able to film me scaring 3 sperate times, however if you were a guest during a normal operational run it would be timed out so that you would only see me once. Guest response has been overwhelming positive so I hope you get the chance to come see the house for yourself in person!

Hmmmm.... I think there's some great potential with this house. I'm taking into account that beginning of season and previews are not as scary since the actors aren't as well-rehearsed (it's just nature for haunted attractions). The Costumes are pretty amazing, although they feel very cheap and could use a little more thought in developing them further. The storyline is interesting, although you have to literally read it to get it since I watched the walkthrough and didn't really know how the plot was developing (that's a huge insult to HHN since that's one of the things they are usually better prepared for). I think they could push that boundary further, especially with a "choose thy fate" nestled into the mixup. Finally, and I'm assuming this might be part of the setup for the camera: it's WAY too bright, you can see everything as you walk though it (i mean the dragon's arm is hilariously caught with the scare actor behind the screen). There's just a ton of Potential here, but it didn't really WOW me the way other attractions do. I just really wish Universal would get me on their Creative team so I could really challenge them on pushing those boundaries much further and better, really setting that bar high for their competition.
