This feels like what the fight actually would have been behind the game. V1 consistently having the upper hand despite all of V2's efforts really shows V1's experience, and the sheer amount of emotions expressed by the small movements perfectly conveys their sentient nature. All in all a fantastic work of art

Personally I found the first V2 fight harder than the second, so I find it fitting to interpret V1 having grown to a point where V2 can no longer match them - very cool!

That initial coin shot by V2 felt personal, lmao. Anyway, amazing job on this! Honestly makes it more enjoyable that this (to me) feels like a street fight with them punching the crap out of each other. It was indeed worth the wait!

It feels like superheroes fighting, and it's really impressive, but I agree it doesn't really feel as fast-paced as it canonically would be. Two robots optimised for killing with a ridiculous arsenal of guns aren't going to take the time to do... anything other than shoot gun, punch, dodge. Still love this animation though

Very nice in general. Despite this animation not exactly capturing the true intensity and fast-pace action the original had, it's still a very solid animation with some good moments here and there. Good job dude

The camera work feels exceptionally professional, and good choreography too, the scenes are set perfectly. Only the combat feels a bit slow, but with the stop screens it fells like reading a comic, so it’s not a downside but a unique and cool thing

I like how it switches from comedic and serious so flawlessly, like on the pyramid, one second v1 and v2 are having one of the most badass fights ever, the next, a far out shot where you can’t even tell if anything’s happening

The animation in general is really good and pretty fluid. The close-up shots are amazing. But in my opinion the pacing of the fight is questionable. One second they're doing cool tricks and shooting or melee-ing each other, and the next they're just awkwardly standing around. Some of the camera shots like the one with the increasing FOV inside the throne room looked a bit cheap. But the ending one was fantastic. Hope to see more of this.

this is so good, you captured the character really well! its a bit slow, but feels pretty realistic as to how the grudge match between the two would actually go

it was really worth the wait. this is literally how I imagined fighting V2. everything about this is so amazing, the counter ricoshot at the intro was top notch. im glad you actually finished this. awesome work!

This is crazy good, but it just feels off when these two are mostly stationary. Of course capturing the high-pace feel of the original fight isnt easy, so this still hit the spot. Good job!

Amazing, spectacular, I love it!

This is probably one of the greatest Ultrakill animations I've seen so far. Sure, the animation was a bit slower than how the gameplay might seem, but that doesn't take away from the fact that the fight choreography was damn near perfect. It was awesome how you were able to capture so much emotion in the V models considering they're literally just objects. Amazing.

This video is great, but I think it needs more fast battle moments, where we can truly see, that V1 is strong and V2 is strong as well

this is really good, i love everything about it, the fighting feels a little too slow for something like ultrakill but i dont dislike the direction you took with it

worth the wait, amazing work!

ive been super excited about this since the initial teaser came out, and honestly i love the full thing so much more than i thought i would! while not super fast paced as one would expect, the more dirty and realistic fighting actually kind of works in favor of the way you animate the characters- and they both feel super expressive just in each little movement and action on top of that. seeing v1 almost reflective/melancholic at the end was a nice touch too, its nice to see the machine take a breather to process everything.

this animation is really good, and was fun to watch, but if I may give some advice. some of punches, and slams looked kinda funky. I think you got the sound effects down, but not the visual effects. doesn't have to be to much, maybe some dust spreading away from the area of impact. that's really all I got. this is fire, and I think that if you keep this up, you'll be an A tier animator. don't give up :)

That coin shot at the start was pretty much the best way anyone has made tension in any piece of media ever

Good stuff! Your use of the environment in the fight was really fun and your animation's great. i agree with everyone else on the pacing tho, half the choreography was spent on downtempo beats like recovering or reacting to attacks and there wasn't enough attacking to make up for it. Choreography and pacing is hard though and the more you practice at it the better you'll get. keep it up!

This whole animation is what Helluva Boss fight scenes wish they could be. Overall, nice work! Also the funni metal pipe noise is in the animation so… 9000/10!

Great job here. But to keep the pace of ultrakill it would be great to increase speed of actions. Just lesser time between each action will do a trick. The way it is now it feels like slow motion of a fight. But anyway really nice. Keep this up.

honestly the first time i've went through that fight, the moment v2 exploded on the ground at the end the sound was all the way up and it scared the shit out of me lol

Usually, ultra kill is supposed to be a fast paced game, but I’m kinda glad to see V2 and V1 fight at normal speed and get creative with their attacks and environment, as well as maneuvering and showing how V2 learned and developed after their first fight with V1.
