Thank you so much for this, it's still working very well. I did your turn 1, the AI managed to destroy Honeybot but who cares, it was resummoned immediately with Transcode. Then it's just a matter of managing the opponent (I had the luck to draw the trap card that cancels an effect then banish the monster, so I won really easily and fast 🤣

Just have a simple Blue Eyes deck thats just a modified version of the Max structure deck. It sucks, but it's fun. Not going to be wasting card points on it though lol

I will need to read more in my future as a duelist xD Without a doubt, the only way to avoid the ATK decreases of my monsters was with the Transcose Talker and Honeybot combo... that part should have been explained in the game tutorial 😒... it was very difficult to get to that path as a newbie😅.

what a piece of work deck that was. We can establish Access Code Talker in the turn but the bot will make a ton of plays and lower the attack and then you are done with! I can't believe I had to come see a guide (even though the draw cards were different) because the game does not give enough hints and give a ton of cards you don´t even need to use! Thanks for showing up how to establish the correct cards Transcode Talker and Honeybot. Man I really prefer the puzzles in Duel Links. And I like puzzles. If the retry was not cumbersome I would keep trying

Something changed with the AI about 10 months ago (Nov/Dec 2022) - summoning Gouki The Master Ogre to negate Accesscode Talker's ATK boost. It used to be that you could just summon a 5300 ATK Accesscode Talker, use the banish effect, and the Cynet Crosswipe spell to win the duel.

@@albaz8171 Aha so it was easier! I see. If they want us to figure out the correct play they should just keep the links we would use. At least the hand cards are the same. How interesting the next one, with the Appliers, were way more easy

Just wanted to comment your strategy still works on PC/steam. The opponent has a different turn than what you show in the video, but it actually works in your favor when you top deck removal for their remaining link monster. Thanks for the assist!

I get the feeling that some people are not summoning both correctly. They must be side-by-side with Transcode Talker on the left and Honeybot on the right for the co-linking effects.

@@albaz8171 Using the Lightbulb looking one and destroying master ogre gets you a good amount of damage on the opponent, something it took me ten loses to figure out...

Wernt exactly the same as mine but still got me far enough to finish him off thanks bro

11:33PM 08/11/23 i managed to complete it on PS5,after slightly going maniacal and talking to myself, watching walkthroughs and countless eye gouging, hair pulling attempts. All i can say is I wish I recorded it cause my AI went a different route as soon as you ended your turn. But eventually I began to grasp the concept of link summoning. Happy trails guys! 👍👍

Well, hopefully you weren't turned off Link Summoning by this tutorial. I started with the Salamangreat (Burning Spirits) structure deck, tried Ignister, then eventually settled on Scareclaw + G Golem for daily missions. Now experimenting with Kashtira mixed into Scareclaw + G Golem.

@@albaz8171 thanks for the reply & your video helped a ton, seriously. I almost threw in the towel honestly, but I see everyone in ranked using Xyz, Synchro and Link summons. Dueling just ain't the same as it used to be lol. I'll just have to adapt. Thanks again brother!

man this fucking shit is bullshit. I just tried it your way but on the final turn some things changed and I lost. I hate these kind of "practices" where the game wants you to win in specific ways with set of decks that you do not care about. Thank you for uploading!

This is still not working for me. They always summon the ogre first while they have another monster and destroy both my monsters. I tried again but used the magic card to remove honeypot and negate the attack, but then they just pop the magic card that allows them to special summon back from the graveyard. No matter what i do, I still keep getting fucked.

Hey does this guide still work overall? asking cause the enemy summons master ogre during main phase 2, then mananges to get 2 other Gyouki monsters and gets them all up to 4300 atk...

If you review some of the comments (from Khaynizzle7, for example), some players do describe the opponent does what you noted. They had to re-try the duel again to get it to work like it should in this video.

Followed your tutorial more than 5x and got whooped everytime, lol.

new player here.. link is making my true IQ shine.

This game is so weird, sometimes you keep getting the exact same card pattern, then you follow a new guide and everything is out of whack, still did the job for the most part. Just had to rely on my own ability to learn the cards working once it got to the 3rd turn.

Man this shit was twisting me sideways, thank you so fucking much for this, honestly this game mode is so ass
