in hindsight, this game unknowingly gave me a preview of what MTG was. Sixteen years later I’m living it IRL via MTG Arena & local FNM: coincidence or Fate. The story mode had potential with some rewrites, better VAs & animation fixes, I’d say its a miniseries

This game was legendary.

I was obsessed with this game when I was little. I never got to finish it and was left with the need to know what happened at the end.

This game is so... surreal to me. As a kid watching my nerd-ass day play and having no idea what was going on, this game was almost... scary to the jarring cuts between the animations of... not really monsters, just THINGS attacking big mystical shield, dying at a moments notice, it's just so WEIRD. And it stuck with me all these years and I love it.

I remember trying to play this game. I literally had no idea how to play, so I ended up running the timer.

Agreed, I also think implementing some of the features they had in the Duelmasters GBA games. Would make a 3d version more fun with in game torunements and better filtering when going through your card collection.

Duel master play is the new game on andapp but it's in Japanese language

I used to play this on easy mode all the time as a kid. Lol. I also set the battle mode to "active" (forgot what it was called) which allows you and the AI to play at the same time which made the game even easier cause the easy mode AI couldn't keep up with me. Good times

I never played this game , but the cutscenes look like they belong on a floppy disk and the graphics look like they belong on a N64 / PS1 Console ( I’ve played the gba version though)

Would've probably been a little better if it had more cards than just the 144 that were already there.

Nah it adds to the atmosphere of it being a natural landscape you're fighting in. Each arena had its own soundtrack

I watched the anime and it's simular to Yu-Gi-Oh.

They had some pretty decent effects :L
