Rod was married 3 times and once said 'Instead of getting married again, I'm going to find a woman I don't like and just give her a house.' lol. He had a lot of great songs out there, including the rock and roll iconic song, Maggie May.

That was about a real life love affair that Rod had with an older woman.
In the 60's, 70's & 80's, this man could have had any woman in the world that he wanted, unless they were already dating Tom Jones.

Your FUNKING reaction was to die for! I was literally crying from laughter. I’m not laughing at you, your reaction was priceless! Check out one of my favorites from Rod “Infatuation” and “Forever Young”. And let us not forget “Some Guys Have All The Luck”, “Young Turks”, “Passion”. And yes he is still singing and touring! And I swear the man hasn’t aged!
Its 8am and I just laughed so hard I woke up my son, the dog and the damn cat! Seriously THANK YOU! Your videos bring light to my life and remove all the dingey ass hate. Much love and respect to you!

Yes "Maggie May" is a good song about a seventeen year old boy and his love for an older lady [ at least 30 ]maybe older
I was staying at a hotel In Ireland on St Patrick’s Day. Walked into the hotel bar with my girlfriends and there’s Rod Stewart. Handsome as ever!!
He has said that one of his idols is Otis Redding. If you don’t know Otis & you haven’t reacted to him, he was, in my opinion, one of the best soul artists & if we hadn’t lost him at such an early age, I feel he would have been a megastar. Otis Redding & Rod Stewart have nothing but great music.
"Forever Young" is my favorite song of his. I also like "Have I Told You Lately," "Hot Legs," and "Tonights the Night." He has such a unique voice.

Rod Stewart is an honorary funk brother! Been doing great music for ever!! His entire catalog is fire!
Rod was given a hard time for this disco type number back in the day and refused to perform it live for years. Now though he doesn't give a flying fig and often does it in a style that sends himself up as he doesn't take himself too seriously these days. Great nostalgic track though.

He was one of my 1st "Celebrity Crushes". Him and Kenny Rogers, I was like 10. Lol In my early 20's, I made a very shy boyfriend of mine sing this song at Karaoke, it was one of the funniest things I've ever seen.... He started out shy and by the end he was swinging the microphone around by it's cord and really into it. 😂

I have had the privilege to have seen Rod Stewart in concert a few times back in the late seventies and early eighties...he is a real showman and puts on a fabulous concert... one time flying into the outside concert venue in a helicopter, to then climb down the ladder to the stage from the hovering helicopter... the energy at his concerts are unbelievable
Like most of the British teenagers in the 1960s, he listened to a lot of blues, Motown, and other music by African American musicians. Lots of British teens were in love with imported music by American black musicians. They thought it was exotic and unusual. Rod Stewart was born in 1946. That would make him 15 in 1961 if my math is right.
Lol, do you know how many kids he has? And he is quite proud to say all his ex's get along together, everyone happy at Camp Stewart.......

True story of how Rod ALMOST got me BADLY wounded. We were outside an arena waiting for the doors to open, festival seating in Cincinnati (Who concert anyone?). Huge crowd packed around the doors. Doors open, crowd CRUSHES forward. I'm lifted OFF my feet, I'm 6'3" btw. I'm just being moved forward by the crowd. I see that directly in front of me is railing, lane divider, whatever one calls it, EXACTLY at groin height if you get my meaning. If we surge a bit to the right, I'm in the door, to the left I miss the door but stuck out of the arena and missing a good seat likely. Straight ahead and I'm neutered. I have absolutely NO control of where I go! Well as fate would have it, I made it in and eventually had 3 kids.

Stay With Me, from when he was the lead singer with "The Faces" (basically a Supergroup). Now they could ROCK! or Sailing, for something completely different.
'Thank You', for the best 10 minutes of my day already!!!😘 'Many Blessings to you'!
Three wives were impressed enough to marry him. A true legend. In 1994, Stewart staged the largest free rock concert in history when he performed in front of 3.5 million people in Rio de Janeiro.[7] not sure how you would do that. Apparently it was on Copacabana beach .... New Year's Eve 1994 Sir Roderick David Stewart CBE (born 10 January 1945)[1] is a British rock singer and songwriter. Born and raised in London, he is of Scottish and English ancestry. Stewart is one of the best-selling music artists of all time, having sold over 250 million records worldwide.[2] He has had ten number-one albums in the UK Albums Chart and his tally of 62 UK hit singles includes 31 that reached the top ten, six of which gained the #1 position.[3] Stewart has had 16 top ten singles in the US, with four reaching #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. He was knighted in the 2016 Birthday Honours for services to music and charity.[4]
