He is nobody you know. He had a super small band before Sleep Token. Beautiful and under the radar. Doesn't matter who they are. Focus on the music ❤️

lol, I was only joking around about that in the video. Besides, I already found out who it is by curiosity getting the better of me. You're right about the situation though. The music always comes first for me!

Came for the Sleep Token reactions, stayed for the kitty 😺 Loving your ST journey, I've been a fan since seeing them live randomly at a festival last summer but I saw them live again last week and am OBSESSED now. If you get it, you get it! Worship 🙏

Just going through random Sleep Token reactions, as I've done for years now. Staying up entirely too late. Now, It's hard to keep up with them blowing up so much right now. I appreciate you taking the time, pausing, and giving us your thoughts. I love that! Nothing more annoying than someone giving a whole paragraph monologue over the song. Always makes me feel like they're missing crucial points in the song. The little quick word comments aren't a problem. Love the after song summary! I can't wait to you follow you on this journey, and can't wait to see how this band evolves for you! It's best going in, never expecting what you're going to get from them! Love the reaction, keep it up, man! Love the catto! (sorry for the paragraph, it felt necessary. lol)

You don't have to apologize. I often end up typing paragraphs on accident lol. Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed the reaction. I can't wait to dive into more of this greatness!

My first introduction to Sleep Token was their cover version of Outcasts “Hey Yah” loved it right off the bat. Then the next song I heard was “Jaws”. I think they are 2 really good introductory songs. Once you get a little more familiar with them, I highly recommend listening to another older song of theirs called “Thread The Needle” sooo good!

Thanks for the comment! I've heard the cover for "Hey ya" and recently reacted to "Jaws" here on my channel. I will definitely do "Thread The Needle" at some point soon! :)

It's always a good idea to check out their old catalogue. They got way too many ridiculously good songs to just ignore in favor of their brand new songs.

Oh I definitely plan on doing they're older songs as well trust me. It's gonna take a while but I'm gonna get through all of the stuff at some point. Can't wait to hear it! Thanks for the feedback dude and keep up the great content! Your vocals sound great! :)

I’m a big ST fan, but it still usually takes me a few listens to get into a new song. I think The Summoning took about 10 attempts as there was so much going on. I find that those that grow on me are usually the better tracks anyway, albeit eventually!

I agree 100%! There are so many songs that I'm not sure of at first but then grow on me over time. Thanks for the comment! 😃

I feel like you’d really enjoy Higher and The Offering. Calcutta is one of their older tracks and it’s definitely a grower. Most of their older stuff is. But keep in mind, these guys are masters of the build. They’ll lull you in and then rip your face off. To really appreciate the older stuff, you might have to get through the classics first, which include Higher and The Offering, for sure. Really been enjoying your channel (and the guest feline appearance in this one). Worship.

First off, thank you simply for the feedback! Yeah, your right about listening to the more well known songs first and then working my way back. I mainly did "Calcutta" because of a request in the comments, which I failed to mention in the video. I may start doing reactions differently in the future, but I'm not sure yet. When I watch the music videos, sometimes I don't properly get a chance to really take in the song because my mind is busy dissecting what I'm seeing. In the future, I was thinking of listening to the entire piece with no video or talking and then afterward giving my reaction. I just don't want the video to seem boring. Tell me what you think. Thanks again for watching and for the comment!! Sorry for the paragraph lol. P.S My kitty is a sweet old girl XD

@@palskee oh, man, I definitely didn’t intend anything as criticism at all, so I’m bummed I worded my comment in a way that left room to translate it that way. I’m psyched you did Calcutta because I think it’s an underrated one and it’s definitely one of my favorites. In thinking about my own journey with them, I got hooked in with Alkaline, then heard some other hits, then completely wore out the Sundowning album before I hit the earlier stuff, so I was already to the point where they could perform the phone book and I’d think it was genius. If I had gotten to the older stuff earlier, I don’t know that I would have gotten it and understood its place in their timeline. The early songs are phenomenal and deep and complex, but I could definitely see how someone just dipping into them might find the early catalog a massive departure from their new singles. Really glad to know you gave it a few listens and it grew on you! I watch a lot of reactions (I just really enjoy watching people enjoy things) and I can tell that music videos as visuals sometimes steal attention from music, but I think music videos are intended to be that multi-sense experience anyway. In watching yours, you do a great job of making observations of visuals while catching the nuances of what you’re listening to. I, for one, am not picky or critical one way or the other in terms of format. I just enjoy re-living my first listens vicariously through others, in any form. I think how you’ve been doing them is perfectly fine, and if you were to switch, that would be perfectly fine, too. You’re doing great, man! Looking forward to more.

You have to listen to the offering by them next! It's a gem for sure. Didn't think I'd like a song of theirs more than I like chokehold but the offering might be the one for me

I know exactly what you're talking about, wishing that you could just sing freely because you know that you're good. But that's exactly what you'll have after the mission of this lifetime is finished, when your soul returns to the Source of All Truth. You will be so overwhelmed that your soul will only be able to sing, being in the presence of all Power and Love in Existence. When you're in the presence of the Love and Truth of the Source of All Love and Truth, the only thing you'll want to do is sing with everything you are, and your song will be the Truth of your being.
