Again, a great reading. I cannot blame the Duchess for being furious that people compare her to the Maggot, simply because they are both American. Wallis had more taste, style and class in her little finger than the other one could ever hope to possess. But I felt the sadness and regret she had for the decisions she made. I hope when she returns her life is a little lighter.

They had two residences...The Mill in the country and the magnificent house in Paris in the Bois de Boulogne. Edward preferred the Mill, as he had Fort Belvedere. She preferred Paris and her fittings and friends there.

It was not Harry being ensnared by Mite. It was Wallis being stuck with David. She did not have a way to escape, a bit like Harry, but not by own choice. I feel she could have tried, but did not dare to contact the secret services for a way out. She felt they were enemies and that she was alone. When even Wallis does not want to be compared with you, and will not say your name... Ouch.

I agree with you 100%. She appears to have learned nothing. Also they now know that they did collude with Hitler. It was discovered he passed on sensitive info to the German command. Totally treasonous. It was in the promise that Hitler would install them as King & Queen once England was invaded and the war was won. He & Wallace would rule Britain. Privately though Hitler didn’t think Edward was very bright and knew he would make a great puppet. Wallace totally told the truth. They sided with him only to return to England as King & Queen.

History is so fake, it was changed. Edward loved his country and the people. You can tell when he gave Interviews. The Windsors were scared to be associated with Hitler. The same reason they didn't helped their relatives the Romanows, they could have been saved. It was political and that's why they forced Edward to abdicate. Funny is Charles married his divorced mistress and became king.

Hello. You said that you were drinking absinthe. Most of it is made here in New Orleans at the old absinthe house. When we go there, they coat the glass with sazerac rye whiskey, then they pour in the absinthe. It is quite good. I truly enjoy the auto writing. Thank you so very much. 🙂💞

Wallis was born on the PA side of the Blue Ridge Summit which straddles PA and MD. She grew up in Baltimore at its peak in the Mt. Vernon area to a genteel family, father died young, rough times. She had family in Philadelphia. Interesting that she didn't want to go back to Baltimore which she fled as soon as she could....she'd flee wildly if she went back.

I am going to ask a strange question. I remember as a child, looking out the kitchen window on our property. My mum and grandmother were so involved looking at a group of young stockmen hunkered down in a group. They were discussing one young man in particular, I remember he had blonde hair, and according to them, a very distinct likeness to Edward VIII. This occurred in Australia in the 1950s, and I know that the Prince had toured the country some time before, and been provided with suitable young ladies as escorts for social functions. He was working as a jackeroo (stockman), but had enquired about buying our property, and had the ready cash, which seemed odd, at the time. Do you think it is possible Edward VIII had a secret son?

I think the politicians had much more of a hand in it with this though. Neither David's father the late King nor the PM at the time (Baldwin) thought David was suitable (he really wasn't) and helped push him into a corner with Wallis so he'd have to go. He was infatuated but she wasn't. So I don't think she and MM are similar, really, apart from neither being very nice people.

Just a suggestion, but maybe do an auto writing with the real James Paul McCartney. Since it's been rumors red he died 9-11-66. I and probably many others would l d be very interested. Thanks,
