H2 is for people that can’t corner for shit anyway so they might as well ride as fast as they can at 0 degrees. Ducati is for people that truly drag knees and go fast around the bends. The chassis and brakes are unbelievable.

The H2 is basically a drag bike and the Superleggera is about the closest thing you can get to a Moto GP machine. Two totally different beasts. I’d be happy to own either.

H2 was not limited, you order then they built it. But of course its hard to find them on dealer. Not impossible just hard. If you order it, they need about 3 months to build and deliver it. Since europe using EURO 5 standard. I doubt they would sell at there. Well you can buy it second hand.

Yeah yeah we know... It will always win a place in our poor, broke, low-skill hearts in the end. But real talk the superlegerra gives you more motogp performance than any other bike on the street. Dry clutch, reverse crankshaft, v4 engine. Even the Japanese brands gave up on inline fours in MotoGP except for Yamaha with the cross plane. Marquez is ditching Honda for Ducati because Honda can't keep up. The v4r/superlegerra is the only liter bike on the street that redlines as high as a 600. More HP naturally aspirated than the supercharged H2??? AND 150 pounds lighter?? Plus, Jay Leno said all of that weight in the h2 is up top so it leans like a pig. Superior chassis and brakes, too. But of course, these and all of that carbon fiber comes at a hefty price. You gotta pay to play. That's how it's always been. Ducati also has the most wsbk championships, if I'm not mistaken. But You already know Ducati doesn't care about straight line squid-ing. They care about the sport of racing. Real racing.

Btw there is also a carbon fiber edition of the H2.....

THIS IS WHY JAPANESE BIKES ARE THE BETTER CHOICE!. You can buy a Japanese motorcycle half the price with the same specs or even better capabilities than their European counterparts. Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki and Suzuki over Ducati, Aprilia, BMW and MV Augusta all day! 👍

no it doesnt work that way... you know that the shocks in superleggera is mind blowingly expensive? only 1 piece of the tube cost 3600 dollar that is already 11% of H2 cost. its made by ohlins and not ducati. and then the carbon wheels... which cost probably more than 10.000 dollars ( thats 30% of H2 price alone ) and that wheel is not ducati made. and all carbon parts including carbon chasis, carbon fairings, carbon brakes, carbon wings etc2 will cost a fortune. so if you are adding those exotic parts into your H2 you will end up spending more than 100.000 dollars. H2 is not a better bike than superleggera. if you inspect every single parts H2 uses lesser spec parts than superleggera, even the bolts and nuts are titanium in superlegera, those bolts and nuts alone probably cost about the same as an entry level motorcycle like yamaha MT15.

Same case with Ducati, if ducati wanted to make fastest bike in the world who can easily smoke H2r in top speed it will be too easy for them, because their motogp's bike already proof it. Their MotoGP bike is the most powerful bike. Their engineer just need to adopted it to their street legal hyperbike and maybe they can add with supercharge too. Imagine bike with the same engine with Desmosedici gp added with supercharge.

@@Erik-qu6pw your point? H2R is still faster than any MotoGP bikes. And none of them come close. With a little bit of ECU remap, you can get 300+ HP on a normal H2. Tells you about the sheer capability of H2, shave some weight down with carbon and titanium parts, still costing less than 100k.

Yep, my h2 is around 190kg still (full carbon, carbon wheels, much titanium stuff i've switched out so yea, u can make it so much lighter then it is stock

It's a engineering exhibition bike, you can't even use full power in first 3 gears. Not road legal, you'll get wrecked on the track as well, what's the point?

The Ducati leaves the Kawi for dead even the H2R.

I would love to own a superleggera too... but idk man i own the h2 for nearly a year now and i can't see myself spending 100 grand of on a single motorcycle

Ducati probably is subjective when it comes to pricing their products. They built expensive bikes that are not as reliable as Japanese bikes that are way cheaper, too.
