Whoa! Looks like the gloves I was wearing in the video are almost sold out. Don't worry, use the code "V4S" on ANY purchase to get 4X entries at shop.yammienoob.co One more thing I didn't mention in today's video - the Ducati V4S is torque limited in 1st - 4th gear. We're getting a flash and an exhaust ASAP to unleash this monster :)

Test rode the Ducati Streetfighter V4S and it’s an amazing bike but I struggled with the riding position, twin sound of engine (and it’s loud at idle which is obnoxious) and it’s bit flat at lower legal speeds. The price is eye watering too. Ended up buying the Tuono V4 factory and I love it, the engine sound, positioning, chassis and torque. Two great bikes, we live in an amazing era of motorcycles

I have had my bike for just shy of 2 years now and I most of the time keep it in sport mode but you can edit the Sport presets so you can have the engine setting to high. Street mode is handy for slow driving around town as it knocks the power down to around 130hp and can be a little less jerky 0-20mph. Race mode suspension is pretty brutal around street and bumpy country roads. It really is best for the track only. I would highly recommend watching Dave Moss's suspension setup for this bike. I felt it made a big difference, handles an absolute dream. If you think the bike is fast now then try and fit the aftermarket Akrapovic or Termi setup along with race map and performance air filter. Man it unleashes a hell of a lot responsiveness and power.

You can change the rider modes on the fly. Press and hold the indicator button in untill they come up. Select which one you want, and then press the indicator button again. It will tell you to shut the throttle off for a second or so. It will then change into that mode. I never understand why people are hung up on fuel gages. When the fuel light comes on, the tank has about a gallon left. it also shows on the dash how many miles you've done with the light on. If you look how many mpg the bike is doing, then you can work out what range you have left. Its really quite easy.

Could you do videos where you dissected a difficult to navigate manufacturer's product line? I have been riding for 25 years and I still don't know how we got from the Ducati 900SS Superlight to the Streetfighter V4S. Or what, (if anything), they have in common. How is a Suzuki DRZ400 related to the 650? Why did the Yamaha FZR750 become the OW01 and how did it influence the R6? What is a Harley Dyna compared to a 113 what? What? What? Even Triumph manages to obfuscate in broad daylight how the Bonneville became the Thruxton base model but that it disappeared when the Speed Twin was released. There is a ton of stuff to unpack here and I would like to see YOU produce content that explained motorcycles to the lay-person. KEEP MAKING VIDEOS. Thank you.

I’d recommend a 650 naked over a 600 super sport. Had a sv650 for my first bike and a 600 for my second. 650 was way more comfortable to ride and let’s you Rev it out more without committing too many speeding violations. The 600 is definitely faster but after 30 min of riding you will wish you were on the 650 for your first big bike

Yammie noob if I hadn’t been a long time follower I would think that you were a paid advertisement by Ducati. Thankfully, I am a longtime follower and I know that you give great unbiased and factual experienced opinions. This review is much needed - because almost every other reviewer out there just is a Tuono fan boy (no doubt great bike) And it’s nice to see somebody who has acknowledged the great qualities of a Streetfighter that you cannot find out unless you had a very long test drive. For example you mentioned how it was very easy to ride around town under 6000 RPM whereas other bikes like the Tuono and the MT 10 would be really darty because of how aggressive their throttle responses are - and I found that to be helpful in my decision making for a future naked. I also loved your analysis about the highway speeds and not any need for a windshield and how comfortable the seat is. Keep the reviews coming 💪🏽🏍

I'd love to ride one of these. I have a SD 1290 with all of the usual mods.. I fear that not having 95ft-lb of torque from 4,000 RPM onward as the Super Duke does would make the Streetfighter feel a bit slower on the street.

I always thought I'd have another Yamaha but the R7 is not my style. I don't want an R1. If I can justify the price tag, this just might be my next purchase. Thanks for the review.
